You never know what you have until you lose it, or so people say. For many years being put into the pitiful illusion that everything would be okay, that in the end villains get happy endings too.

Sometimes, broken pieces are irreplaceable. When you lose that thing that had been your absolute must to protect or live for the human mind can take a dark path, one that could change absolutely everything.

They say that those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it they say that once you fall in the depths of hell it's impossible to go back and change your wrongdoings.

She was beautiful, something rare that you saw once in a lifetime. Her overflowing kindness that knew no limits was the dead end for her long gone self.

The dust that sat in her once youthful appearance was beginning to form part of the long forgotten soul. Her eyes closed slowly in a shocked expression that told a thousand words. The sky was crimson red, the heavens cried once again leaving it's tears to fall upon those whom had experienced the horrid view.

That day was marked as the point of no return. The young Uchiha had fallen into endless despair that drained his broken self bit by bit. With one hand that the boy placed behind the kunoichi's head holding her closer to him tears came soon into view.

He had no one now. He was all alone in such a big world, with no one or anything to protect with no one to call a friend. The pain that he had been feeling a few minutes ago was the pain that slowly began to change him as well.

"Rin, I'll create a world where we can be together again."

(.....)

"So, you two were here"

Spoke a voice that caused the two figures who sat next to each other locate whom had spoken said words. Of course they already knew who it belonged to.

The wind moved his Silver hair around like if it were a toy. His dark eyes gazing in the direction where the two sat. This boy was the definition of arrogance, or so the Uchiha thought.

It had been many years and he still had that look of feeling superior to everyone else. He hated it. He hated having to be in this situation once again, this was absolute cruelty towards the boy.

His bare presence felt toxic. The raven haired Uchiha felt agony, he felt as a slave to this endless cicle. This time he would make sure that Rin watched him until the end, this time Kakashi would get it.

"O'y, Obito snap out of it"
Spoke the Hatake once again this time succeeding to atract the Uchiha's attention within a few seconds, he was surely annoyed. Why was an intelligent intellect such as himself been put in a team with someone whose strenght couldn't compare in the minimum to his.

But, everything has a reason behind its purpose.

"Is something wrong, Kakashi?"
The kunoichi spoke tilting her head to the side, knowing Kakashi he wouldn't want to be around Obito, surely something had come up.

"Time is not something we have in our hands, action must be taken immediately"
Said the third hokage with a serious expression that was enough to send shivers down everyone's spine, he was a man that thought of the village as his own family protecting it was one of his priorities.

"Sir, I beg your pardon but they're only kids what if something happens along the way?
Questioned a blonde haired jonin who stood between a small group of people anxiously waiting for the third's response. Knowing the man and their current situation he wouldn't be present to help them carry out their mission successfully.

Hope was something not everyone had at this point, all they wanted was peace but it looked like it wasn't going to happen anytime soon. The tyranny of the enemy was monstrous, they needed strenght to keep going the will to stay alive and the victory at last.

"Namikaze Minato"
Spoke the elder man to his subordinate as he took in a deep breath to continue speaking. He needed the strenght and might to stay strong for everyone in the village. The chances of survival for many teams were slim being equivalent to zero, with only the lucky ones managing to stay alive.

"Yes, lord third."
Responded the blonde jonin keeping his gaze down at the floor. He didn't want to think of the worse he wanted to stay positive and believe everything would be okay, but sometimes believing can also be the cause of many untold tragedies.

"As it has come to my attention, Hatake Kakashi now being a Jonin such as yourself will be the leader to carry out this mission. You, in the other hand will take care of another and as soon as it's done make sure to get back to them, we don't want any misfortunes"
Sure they were nothing more but kids who didn't know any better, and now that they were at war these dark times would force them to grow up.

Expecting them to be successful when it came to the mission the third hesitantly for a slight second questioned the stability of said team, what if things didn't go as planned? What if what he had been fearing all along would materialize to haunt him for failing at protecting those kids.

He had realized too late.
