Let's Play a Game

Chapter 2

As Alfred appeared behind the spades throwns he could hear the kingdoms shouting at each other. Conner cringed at the voices and the two brothers gave each other a worried look. Alfred took a deep breath and stepped out from behind the throwns.

"Ah. Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts. So nice to see you all again." Alfred said with a fake smile. Conner stayed hidden so the three kingdoms couldn't see him but he could see them.

"There you are, Jones! We've been meaning to talk to you for a while." The king of Clubs yelled.

"And what might you want to talk about James?" Alfred asked, stepping down the small stairs that led to the spade throwns.

"Your queen and jack and the fact that you've been isolating yourself and your kingdom from us!" The king of Diamonds yelled.

"Look Corona I've been busy with...other important things. I don't have the time to deal with you all." That sparked something and it was not a good thing.

"Deal with us? You don't have the time to deal with us!?" The king of Hearts yelled, grabbing the king of spades by his shirt collar.

"I'm going to teach you a lesson you litt-ah!" A strong force pushed the two kings apart, Conner appearing in front of Alfred. The three kingdoms stood in silence and watched the Card master and the king of spades.

"I don't think that's how you deal with things Hearts. If Spades wants to stay isolated then they will stay isolated. You three kingdoms need to understand that. Unless you all want to be removed from your former titles." Conner stated.

"And what gives you the right to remove our titles Card master! You're always standing up for that bastard. We have the right to know what's going on." The Queen of diamonds shouted. Alfred felt a headache coming on. This was all like back home. Where people were yelling at him and blaming him for things he was trying to fix, deal with or whatever. He could hear the insults the other kingdoms started throwing at him.

"Conner! I need to speak to you in private." Alfred spoke.

"About what?" The Jack of Hearts asked.

"Personal stuff." The spade king answered. Conner nodded and they went back behind the spade throwns. The two disappeared and were sent into a black galaxy like room. This is where the cards were held for each kingdom's jack, queen and king.

"What is it?" Conner asked. Alfred sighed and looked over at the spade's cards. The king's card had a picture of himself(Alfred) on it but the two cards beside it were blank. The blond crossed his arms and gave the cards a longing look.

"Let's play a game, Conner," Alfred answered. Conner slowly smirked as he looked at Alfred.

"Alright. Now before we begin what would you like me to do to the former cardholders." Conner asked, his voice turning dark.

"Whatever you soul desires Confederacy," Alfred answered.

"Then let the games begin." With the snap of Conner's fingers, everything went black.
