Birds could be heard outside as a window was slightly cracked open. The sun was shining through the window along with soft gusts of wind. The sound of a cranky brit waking up could be heard in a nearby bed. It was a Queen sized bed with blue silk blankets coved with the spades marking.
"Bloody hell..." A voice mumbled, slowly sitting up and rubbing his tired eyes. The blond looked around calmly and hummed to himself calmly, until.
"Wait! Where the bloody hell am I!?"
~~~"Damn it!" A blond shouted, clenching his hair and pulling it. That man was Alfred who was currently playing chess with Conner.
"Checkmate. I win." Conner said with a victorious smile.
"How!?" Alfred yelled. He was very close to flipping the table at this point.
"It's easy." Conner pointed out.
"Well for you it is," Alfred said, crossing his arms. He gave a huff and looked away. The sound of a door opening could be heard.
"Your Highness?" A voice asked. Alfred turned his head to the side to look at the servant who just walked through the door.
"Yes?" Alfred questioned.
"There are some people wandering the hallways. Would you like me to send them in?" The servant asked.
"Yes, that would be good," Alfred answered. The servant nodded his head and left.
"Seems like the cards have already chosen," Conner muttered as he picked up the chess pieces and placed them back into their respective places.
"You mean...?" Alfred asked as he turned to look at his brother.
"Yes, the cards are in the hands of the new nobles or whatever. Damn trying to speak royal is a pain." Speaking quietly Conner sat up in his chair, looking at the spade king.
"So new people. Alright." Alfred said as he stood up and pushed his chair in.
"Yep. I'll need to tell them their roles they play and their new responsibilities." Conner said as he did the same thing Alfred did.
"From what I recall I think I also let the joker cards choose their owners." The king gave a tired sigh.
"Oh, great more of you." Conner rolled his eyes.
"Oh yes fear me," Conner said with no emotion in his voice. The blond chuckled. The doors to the throne room opened slowly. The sound of whispers could be heard but all when quiet as Alfred fully faced the new rulers of the four kingdoms. He froze, he should have at least seen this coming.
"America?" England questioned.
"What?" France questioned.
"Hello, Countries of the world. I am Alfred Jones, King of Spades. I welcome you all to the world of cards." Alfred introduced himself, no matter what he needed to be formal. He was a king after all.
"Wait wait wait wait what!?" China questioned. "You're in the cardverse dimension," Conner said as he walked over to Alfred's side.
"Welcome to your new home."
