Lets Do This

"Colby! Guess what!" I say running to his room. I just arrived at his house from my apartment.

"What?" He turns from editing, excited.

"I found this ring that I got a long time ago and I lost it! I have been looking for it everywhere!" I say sitting on his lap.

"Y/n, that's awesome!" He says smiling and kissing my cheek. He examines the ring and starts to think.

I look at him confused. He smirks.

"I got an idea. What if we prank the roommates and say I proposed?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "Do you think they'll buy it?"

He nodded vigorously. "Of course they Will, I mean, I know we have only been together for a year, but they see how much I love you and I mean, one day it is gonna happen." He said with his adorable smile.

I nodded, "okay, let's do this." He kissed me and went back to editing. Once he was done, we decided to do the prank later tonight.

~ Time Skip to 1 hour later~
"Babe, I gotta run to go get a new SD card. I wanna go grab it before I forget about it. Can you stay here and make sure everybody stays in the house so when I get back we can call a house meeting? I'll try to get back about 10 minutes before the prank so we can film the intro." Colby asked me as he was putting his shoes on.

"Of course," I say smiling going to hug him. I look up at him and give him a peck on the lips, "hurry back, Baby." I peck his lips once more as he says, "Don't worry, I will. I love you!"
"I love you too!"

After another hour goes by, Colby returns.
We go up to his room to film the intro.

"What's up guys, it's Colby Brock! Today we are pulling a prank on the roommates. But, I have a special guest helping me out today." Colby says smiling. "My beautiful girlfriend who I love so much, Y/n."

I wave to the camera. We explain what the prank is and go on with it. After filming the intro, I go downstairs and get everybody in the bar room ready to listen to our "news".

Colby's P.O.V.
"Ill be down in a minute babe. Gotta use the bathroom."
Y/N nods and continues to walk downstairs.
I grab the camera and walk into the bathroom. I turn it on.
"Hey guys, so I am currently in the bathroom while Y/n is setting up the prank. I told her I have to use the bathroom so I don't have long, but I have a surprise for Y/N. I told the roommates about the prank. Before all of this happens, I hope you guys still love and support me after what I am about to do and support y/n too because she is my world. But anyways, back to the video."
I turn the camera off and head downstairs.

Your P.O.V
"What is up sister?" Corey asks me as him, devyn, Aaron, Jake, and Sam sit on the couch in the bar room.
"Not much, just waiting on Colby to start the meeting." As if on cue, Colby walks into the room. He stands beside me and puts his arm around me. He smiles down at me.
"Okay guys seriously, what is going on?" Sam asks us.
"We have some news for you," I put my hands in my front pockets so they can see the ring on my finger.
Kat looks, gets up, takes my left hand and holds it to examine the ring.

"No you're not." She said with a straight face. I nodded with a sad expression on my face.
Devyn gets up beside her. "No Y/N You really aren't."
I am so confused, how do they know?

Corey stands beside Devyn, "Bro, there is no way you are."

"Yes we are, why can't you guys just be happy for us?"

Sam, Aaron, and Jake walk out of the room and towards the stairs. I sigh.

Kat takes the ring off my finger and analyzes it more. She shakes her head, "Y/N, you don't have to lie to us anymore, we know you aren't."

I sigh in defeat. "Yea, you're right. But, how did you know?"

Kat, Devyn, and Corey pointed behind me. There was a heart made out of candles with Colby standing inside holding a rose. I guess I was too busy fighting with the roommates to even notice that He walked away.  Aaron, Sam, and Jake were holding signs. They read "got" "a" "question". I read the signs and looked at Colby.

He smiles that enormous, adorable smile.
He gestures for me to take his hand. I take it and step into the heart with him.

He stands in front of me and stares into my Y/e/c eyes. I stare into his ocean blue ones. He chuckles a little.

"This is not really how I imagined doing this but, tonight," he pulls out his phone and shows it to me, "exactly midnight, marks our 1 year anniversary. Y/N, this past year has been such an amazing journey with you by my side. We have had our fights and there was a night I thought I lost you for good, but we pulled through. Since then, I promised that I would marry you someday and well, I guess today," he gets down on one knee and pulls out a velvet box. "Is that day. Y/N, since the day I met you, I have loved you. Everyday when I'm with you, I fall in love with you all over again. You are the best thing that has happened to me and I never want to almost lose you ever again. I know we are young but we can make it work. It's you and I against the world. So, Y/f/N y/m/N y/l/n, will you marry me?"

I am SHOOK!

I pull Colby up off his knees and kiss him rough yet romantic. I smile from ear to ear,
"Of course I will you dork!"
