I yawned, looking at the time on my phone. " Yo I'm fucking beat, you ready to go Sky?"
Sky, Gazzy, Tri and I, had been sitting in the burrito place for hours. It was fun and all but it was passed my bed time.
Sky looked at Gazzy and then to me. "Um... I think I'm gonna stay out a little longer." WOW, she is really feeling that goofy nigga.
"Aight, just text me when you get home." I said, standing up from the booth.
"How you getting home?" Tri asked.
I shrugged, fixing my dress,. "Dunno, uber probably."
Tri stood up brushing himself off, "Nah. I'll drop you off."
Sky gave me a look and I looked at Tri with an arched brow. "You good to drive?"
Tri shrugged with a smirk, "Guess we'll find out."
"Oh fuck that, text me when you get back so I know you didn't die," Sky said.
"Will do, night sky. Night Gazzy."
"Aight, night nigga." Tri said, dapping up Gazzy.
"Lata son," Gazzy said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. Noodle head ass.
Tri and I walked out to his car in silence.
"Soo..." I started, "How'd you meet Gazzy?"
"Instagram," he said with a laugh, "Weird nigga dm'd me asking to link and make music."
"You do music too?" I knew Gazzy did his little rap thing, he had a pretty solid following in Cambridge and Boston.
"Yeah, you should come to a show sometime."
"Yeah nah," I said with a laugh. "I'm not going anywhere until I know if you can actually rap. I'm not going to a show only to find out you sound like Ice JJ Fish or some shit."
"Wooow" Tri said laughing, "You really know how to hurt a nigga's feelings. But forreal check my shit out."
"Send me the Soundcloud link to your fire mixtape."
"Keep talkin shit lil mama and Ima fuck ya up f'real." He wrapped an arm around my neck, bringing me in to ruffle my hair.
I pushed away from his body laughing, "Nigga, if you don't stop. Ima fuck you up."
He pulled me in again, "Yeah? Fuck me up then, mama" He low tone sent shivers up my spine. We stood like that for a second before the sound of car unlocking startled me. He smirked before walking over to a dark colored Lexus GX opening the passenger door. "Your chariot awaits."
I rolled my eyes, climbing in. Corny ass nigga.
The car purred to life as Tri turned the key. We glided through the streets, a song played quietly, only being interrupted by the directions of the gps.
"You go to Harvard with Sky and Pump?"
"HA, no. I don't go to that stuffy ass school." I laughed, "I go to Cambridge."
"Sheesh, y'all niggas smart as fuck."
I laughed, "I guess so. You go to school around here?"
"Fuuuck nah, I tried that shit. It was wack." He replied, pulling in front of my apartment building. I looked at the building, wondering when Sky would be home.
"What are you doing right now?"
Tri just looked at me, "Dropping you off..."
"No, like what are you doing after this?"
