Roman's POV~
I can't get that doctor's sentence out of my head, "medical induced coma", just a large replay over and over again. A different doctor comes from the hospital doors, he turns to us to say something. "Okay... so we think it's time for one of you to come back to see him, who will come back first?" I stand from my chair, "I will".
~One long trip through the hospital corridors later~
As I walk into the hospital room is see Virgil, oxygen mask on his mouth and bandages all over his arms. The sight in front of my brought me to tears, the first doctor I saw put her hand on my shoulder to try to comfort me, she then speaks "Would you like to be alone in here for a minute?". I can't speak, I can only nod my head yes. When the doctors leave I move a chair from the corner up to the hospital bed. The somewhat lifeless body in front of me looks paler than usual, the snow white skin I love has turned to a horrifying grey. I reach my hand over and entwine our fingers, "I love you Virgil... please don't die on me, I need you in my life" I say as I dip my head into my other hand. I lift Virgil's hand to my face and place a gentle kiss, I put my other hand on top of Virgil's hand to warm up the cold, somewhat lifeless hand that I have in my hands. One of the doctors comes back in with Patton and Logan, I let go of Virgil's hand.
