I recommend listening to the video!!

"Taehyung..." you groan as you pull away from his grip and sit up on the bed, facing away from him.

"Y/n, I've told you so many times that I like you. Ever since highschool, I've always found you to be my favorite person. You remember that one time where you said you wanted to eat Wendy's, because you've never ate it before and we were to broke to afford it, and for your birthday I bought us two burgers and some chicken nuggets with a frosty?" Tae ran over to your side of the bed, and kneeled below you and held your hands.

You smiled slightly, and laughed. You remember crying the first time you tasted a chicken nugget from Wendy's. And it's true, Tae has been there for some of your hard times.

Tae saw you lost in space, and grinned. He loved seeing you space out and look like an idiot.

"Y/n.. I know you're confused. But can I just..." Tae reached over for your cheek and slowly closed in the gap between your lips. You were basically having sleep paralysis without sleeping. You knew what was going on, but you didn't know if you should push him away before it's too late or- whoops too late.

Tae's lips have touched yours, and his heart flutters so hard he might throw up. He didn't want to deepen the kiss and scare you away, so he stayed where he was, gently pecking your chapped, dry lips. Even though you forgot to put on chapstick on today, and your lips were cracking and rough, Tae didn't care. He still felt amazed that he had the balls to actually make a move. Even though your lips didn't feel great, Tae smiled and continued to kiss you. He was so joyful and heard his heart dancing in his chest.

Even though Tae was having the time of his life, you couldn't feel anything fluttering. You felt your cold lips touch Tae's warm ones. It felt so nice, but it didn't feel right. You were too different from Tae. He was so cheerful and happy, you couldn't take that away from him. Being his friend was hard enough, you trying to pretend that you were okay. You didn't want him to become broken like you were. He was so full of energy, and wanted to explore out of his limits. You just wanted to stay where you were safe, and you would almost never go outside your comfort zone.

The thoughts came rushing to your head.

He's confused. You're confused. This isn't right. This isn't right. This isn't right. You're too much for him. You'll scare him away.

You slightly push Tae away and smile. He stares up at you. You open your mouth to say something, but he interrupts.

"I know, I know. You don't think this is right. But don't worry, I'll wait until it does." He fakes a big smile. This seems so cliche. But depression really kicks you in the ass. You knew Tae would understand, but you just don't think he's ready to know too much about you.

Time doesn't resemble how close to someone you are.

You can be friends with someone for over 15 years, but if you don't choose to open up. It doesn't matter.

"Tae, I think I should go home. I left my phone there, and my mom said I should call her soon."

Lies.

"You could use my phone!" He quickly told you, as he tried to get you to stay.

"No seriously, I need to go. Goodnight!" You quickly grab your thoughts and pull yourself together. You head out the door, and glance back at Tae. He looked happy, smiling with his teeth. He was still himself. You smiled back at him and closed the door behind you. You sighed, and started to walk. You shove your fingers down your pockets, trying to find your phone.

12:58 am.

You look around your other pockets and rolled your eyes and sigh deeply once again. Great, you forgot that you had cleaning duty. At least you had the key Jin gave you, so you can start now. Late or never, you shrug.

You run up to the café with your ruined vans with holes. You were a sweating mess, red and breathless. You fidget the key in the lock and finally get it to open. You open the door, as it made a bell sound. You throw your key and phone down on the table, and roll up your sleeves to start on the dishes. That's weird, they're all clean? You swore they were dirty when you left. You became suspicious but shrugged it off. Whatever, Jimin probably did them on his way out. You turn around and see Yoongi holding a mop up to your face, trying to hit you.

"OH MY JESUS YOONGI!" You jump slightly and hold the mop from hitting you. You cringe, as the dirty wet strands of the mop touch your wrist. Yoongi relaxes and dropped the mop. He held his chest, trying to calm his heart down.

"Jesus, y/n. I thought you were a homeless person." He wiped the sweat off of his forehead. You rolled your eyes to his comment of you looking like "a homeless". You slap his arm, and picked up the mop.

"Why are you still here at 12:58 am?" You questioned him, suspicious. You started to mop the floor without any energy.

"Dumbass Jimin forgot that he had a doctors appointment, so I had to take his place for cleaning duty." He growled at the thought of not being able to sleep.

"Are you serious, Yoongi?" You asked as you started to laugh harder than you ever have.

"What?" The little cat looked at your face, confused as hell.

"Jimin uses that excuse everytime he forgets he has a tinder date. He did that to me so many times before I realized that he had 12 "doctor appointments" in a month." You continued to mop.

Yoongi groaned and rested his head on the cabinet behind him.

"I knew that short piece of shit tricked me. Last week he said that he had a family gathering, but he posted on twitter that he was at a strip club." He rolled his eyes and jumped on the counter and sat.

"You're not that tall either, lil meow meow." You chuckled.

He glared at you and closed his eyes.

"Well I'm still taller than you y/n, and I recommend not making fun of me when I'm tired."

You could tell Yoongi was half asleep, but you didn't want to clean without company.

"Hey, Yoongi?" You asked him, as you moved on to cleaning the tables.

"Hm?" He grunted as he was slowly dozing off.

"Do you want to do shots?" You smirked, as you looked over at him.

It was silent, and you assumed he already fell asleep. You sighed and grabbed a soju from the refrigerator for staff. You reached over to grab the cups from the cabinet next to Yoongi. You grabbed one cup, and you felt a hand on your shoulder. You looked up at Yoongi, and his eyes were staring at you with half-lidded eyes.

"Grab two cups."

You smirked and grabbed another cup and poured the alcohol in them. You lifted the glass up to the air, and you both smiled at each other.

"To new friendship."
