Jimin was drenched in sweat.

At one point of the performance, Jimin's vision became unfocused due to how hard he was trying to fight for another spot in the final round. But that didn't stop him from performing at his absolute best.

Hoseok was dancing right alongside him, with three other dancers, performing the exact same choreo. His face was glowing in sweat and dripping of persistence to make it another day.

On stage, no one would have even guessed Jimin and Hoseok were dating. They had that classic rival aura around them whenever they danced in the same room, which was more evident than ever on this very stage.

Jimin shared wicked glances Hoseok's way, while Hoseok did likewise in Jimin's general direction.

The song eventually ended and the dancers stood, spaced out, on the stage.

They were looking amongst each other with anxious glances and stiff postures.

The announcers were rallying up their scores and were about to announce the winners who were advancing. Jimin and Hoseok were standing next to each other and Jimin leaned to whisper something to Hoseok, in attempt to intimidate him and also tease him.

"If I advance and you don't, can we celebrate tonight?" Jimin whispered, biting his lip at the end of his sentence.

"That's only if you even advance, sweetie." Hoseok quietly scoffed.

"I have one final alternative offer, actually."

"Hmm?"

"If we both advance, can we have some real fun tonight?"

Hoseok's eyes widened as everything started to click. Jimin was simply proposing that if they both advance, to have sex later that night. And suddenly for the first time, Hoseok was really wanting them both to win this round.

The judges finally shouted who made it to the finals in the upcoming two days. The crowd was silent and so were the dancers.

This would be the moment to mark the rest of their lives as dancers.

"Jung Hoseok!"

Hoseok jumped up in glee and then quickly composed himself for the second name to be called.

Jimin was almost shaking in desperation. His name needed to be called for more reasons than anyone on the stage could comprehend.

The judge opened their mouth once more and Hoseok was looking at Jimin in good confidence, hoping that his boyfriend advances too. Jimin was only looking down at his feet, afraid to face the reality of if he didn't get picked.

"And.. Park Jimin!"
