Alrighty who's phone is that?

I lift my head and look around the room, trying to find out who's phone is going off at such a late hour.

I hear someone sigh and I look towards them.

Cece was looking at her phone and texting. Though it looked like she kept getting messages she didn't care for.

I fake a yawn and sit up.

"Cece? What are you doing up?" I rub my eyes.

She jumps up and drops her phone.

It clatters to the ground beside me and I reach for it to hand it back to her but as it continues to buzz.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." I laugh.

"No no it's fine. I'm good all good. Didn't just have a heart attack or anything." she says, her hand still on her chest as she laughs slightly.

"Sorry if I woke you." she looks down at her phone, turning it away from her and setting it down.

"No no it definitely wasn't you...but why are you still up it's like 3 in the morning." I question her.

"Ah yeah know just couldn't sleep I suppose." she shrugs. I could tell she wasn't really telling the truth.

"And what about you? You're up at 3 in the morning too." she tilts her head to the side.

"Oh I just wake up a lot. No big deal." I shrug.

She narrows her eyes as if she were questioning me and seemingly decided she believes me.

"Who's messaging you? You're phone hasn't stopped going off since I've been up at least." I look forwards her phone which hasn't stopped buzzing the whole time we had talked.

"Oh uh, that's uh my cousin. From New York. She freaked when she heard I'd been hanging out with y'all." she laughs nervously.

"Oh? Well why don't we face time her sometime. I'm sure the boys would love to meet her. I know I would. She could tell us some embarrassing stories of you!" I laugh quietly, trying to put her at ease.

"Oh no that's fine she wouldn't even be able to speak she'd be fangirling so hard. I'm surprised I'd honestly not known about y'all sooner because she is a huge fan apparently. Then again we never got to spend much time together seeing that we lived apart."

She began rambling and I just listened. I noticed her phone had still kept buzzing and decided that I'd convince her to let us facetime her cousin. She had kept on talking about how much she missed her so I'm surprised we'd never heard of her  until now to be completely honest.

"Sorry I'm completely rambling." she sighs.

"No you don't need to apologize, I don't mind, I like talking to you and listening to stories." I shrug and lay my head back on my pillow.

"You should get some sleep." she smiles at me, laying down as well.

"Eh."

We talked until we fell asleep, but the whole night something just felt off. And her phone kept buzzing, even though she hadn't been responding. Maybe there was something else going on.

A/N

Aahhhhhhh so I finally updated,  not once, but twice in one day woohoo!!!!

I figured that their both kinda short so I might as well do both ya feel??

Anyways I know I wanted to update more this summer but it turns out that I'm moving so I've had to start packing and help both my sisters as well as some other stuff that's happened.

Just wanted to apologize and make up for it a lil bit so hope y'all enjoyed these two chapters!
