Chapter 1- That Needed Push

Blue sighed while watching tv "I'm so alone..." she thought to herself while flipping through channels.  As she was looking,  something caught her eye. "I wish I could do something like that!" she said to herself while looking at the tv.  On the screen played a band live on television. "What an inspiration... being adored by others... having friends... being able to express yourself like that!"  Blue stood up and walked to her kitchen "they don't realize how lucky the are... Success reflects talent alright, but they're nothing without luck presenting it for them" she huffs to herself and sits back down.  "I wonder how much people would laugh if I asked them to form a band" Blue says out loud while continuing to watch the band.  "Laugh at what?"  says a voice coming from the kitchen.  "Sapphire?" Blue calls out while looking behind her to confirm it was her friend talking.  Sapphire jumped over the couch where Blue was sitting and joined her.  Blue smiled and watched her friend as she casually sat down as though she lived here.  "What would I do without my Sapphire" Blue thought to herself "she's the only one who I've ever come close to talking about my loneliness with... though not even her could I express myself with... I can't risk boring anyone with my problems and having them leave me".  Blue suddenly snapped out of her thought when she heard Sapphire shout her name. "Hello! Earth to Blue!" Sapphire shouted as she snapped her fingers in Blue's face.  "Oh haha, sorry" Blue said and blushed embarrassed.  "Well, what were you talking about?" Sapphire asked.  "It's nothing..." Blue responded and looked down.  "C'mon, tell me!"  Others might not appreciate it, but one of Sapphire's best qualities was getting people to open up and talk even when they don't think they should, or, at least that's what Blue thought so, she sometimes needed that extra push.   "Well, I was thinking of getting some people to start a band..." Blue said and cautiously looked at her friend who looked back with a blank stare.  "S-see! Told you it wasn't impo-" Blue started to say but was quickly interrupted by Sapphire loud response.  "That's a great idea!"  Sapphire responded with an enthusiastic tone.  "You think so?" Blue said sounding surprised.  "Why wouldn't it? I think it would be tons of fun!"  Sapphire said while looking away from Blue.  Blue started to smile "who would of thought someone would like my idea" she thought to herself.   Blue and Sapphire went back to watching tv and ended up dropping the rest of the conversation.

Ok so that's the first chapter!  I know it's not much but you gotta start somewhere!  Do you guys like the writing style or would you prefer the speech be written from each persons point of view?

Feel free to tell me if I accidentally made a spelling or grammar error.  I realize mistypes happen and personally I don't really feel like going over my work more than once lol.  You guys can help me that way :)
