Chapter 2 - Is this Happening!?

It was few days after Blue and Sapphire discussed the idea of starting a band.  "It's been a few days since Sapphire talked to me about the band... I guess she wasn't completely interested" Blue thought to herself as she walked out of school she was attending. But, as though it was a sign, Sapphire sprinted up to her dragging someone along.  "Hellooooo Blue!" Sapphire shouted as she caught up to Blue.   "Sapphire?" Blue asked slightly surprised.  "You haven't talked to me about the band lately, have you been scouting?" " Scouting? I didn't know we were doing that" responded Blue slightly embarrassed.  "I guess we are still doing that" Blue thought to herself and smiled.  "Is that why I'm here?" asked a tall boy who Sapphire at dragged along.  There stood a brown spiky haired boy wearing a white t-shirt, green jacket, and brown pants.  He hard dark green eyes that looked as though they could pierce your soul.  "O-oh... hi Green"  Blue said starring up at the boy slightly intimidated.  "Green has an amazing voice and can play the guitar!"  Sapphire said enthusiastically while tugging on the boys arm.   "Ok Sapphire you can stop now" Green said and shrugged Sapphire off of him.  "I didn't realize you two were friends?"  Blue said while looking back and forth between the two.  "Ya, we've been friends since middle school" responded Sapphire.  Blue wouldn't admit it to anyone, but she had actually had a long time crush on Green.  Luckily for Blue, she was pretty good at hiding her emotions and keeping a cool collective attitude.  "That's great, good to have you join" Blue said while smiling at Green.  "Join?" Green said,  "I didn't even know why I was dragged here and now I'm joining something?"  "Gosh Green keep up, your obviously going to be joining our band!" Sapphire said with an annoyed tone.  "Oh is that so" Green said with an annoyed look on his face."  "Yes it is" Responded Sapphire "It would mean a lot to us"  Green looked over at Blue "I'm guessing this was your idea?" "Um, ya it was" Blue said trying her best not to look embarrassed.  Green sighed "I knew Sapphire was smart enough to come up with this idea.  I guess I'm joining then" "Really?" Blue said slightly shocked.  "Why not?" Green said looking confused at Blue.  "We're classmates, I'm already friends with Saph over there" Green said while pointing to an obviously offended Sapphire by Green's previous rude statement of her lack of creativity.  "Besides" Green continued "You need a guy in your band, I mean, what kind of band doesn't?"  Blue started to smile "That's great!"  "I have a boy a few towns over, he'll be moving to our school next week.  I'll ask him if he wants to join, he plays the drums and guitar"  Green smiled enthusiastically as he started to think of the progress of the band.  "I've never seen this side of him" Blue thought "He's usually so stoic.  Then again, I've never really talked to him much.  This explains why he's friends with Sapphire I guess."  "So Blue"  she heard a voice say to her  "Do you have any ideas where we could practice?"  Blue looked at Green who was talking to her.  "Well, I haven't thought about it much but I guess we could practice in my garage, it's  pretty cleared.  "Then we'll meet you their after school tomorrow. I'll head over with Saph so no need to give me directions.  See you tomorrow."  Green said while giving slight wave as he walked away. "oh..Bye!" Blue responded shocked by his forwardness.  "I'll see you tomorrow as well Blue" Sapphire said smiling as he walked away.  "My best friend and crush are coming to my house tomorrow..." Blue thought "How exciting!" she said while running home.
