I was attempting to sleep but it wasn't coming easily so I went into the kitchen to find some food. It felt so weird to be able to walk around freely again and just be me. A minute later I heard the floor creak and I felt the presents of someone behind me. And then I felt hands going around my waist. I freaked out and jumped and was rewarded with a chuckle and footsteps going another direction. He got out a jug of milk and didn't even bother getting a cup to drink it.

I searched around the kitchen and when I forgot what I wanted, I decided to go back to bed.

"Elizabeth?" That surprised me, I haven't heard my name in awhile I'm surprised I didn't forget it.

"Yeah?"

"You look... Pretty. I mean, like all washed up and changed- like I don't know you just seem happy and yeah.."

"Ohh-Kay?" I chuckled. "Thank you." He seemed a little flustered and like he was having a hard time getting that sentence out so I decided not to say anything mean about it. I turned my light off and went to bed. And was followed by kellin telling me "goodnight, sweet dreams."

Ed's POV

"That son of a bitch!" I yelled out angrily. He thinks he can just waltz out and get the girl just like that, we had a plan. If he turns this into the cops he'll get arrested too and I know he's not that stupid. I sighed and took a break. I'm in the middle of the dessert with no car, no service and no water. The next time I see his ass.. He's dead and so is she.

___

Kellin's POV

The floor was uncomfortable, but I'd rather it be me to feel the pain than her, she's been through so much the past few years and I was apart of it. I need to make up for my mistakes, from now on I'll protect her. Always. I sat up and watched her sleep, probably the best she's had in a long time. I'm in love with this girl, I've known it since the first day as weird as it sounds. She probably hates me for what I did, you probably hate me for what I did. God knows I despise myself. It was my uncle, Ed. He talked me into it, I was a rebel child anyways; always getting into trouble with school, my parents, the law. He told me this was my chance to make something out of myself and I did. A criminal.

Elizabeth's POV

I awoke to the smell of breakfast and for a moment I thought I was home. It was a Sunday morning, the smell of food wafting through the house. My brother just getting up from being out all night. My dad awake and ready for work and my mom cooking her butt of with a smile on her face. Breakfast was always my favorite meal, it seemed to bring us together.

Now it was different but also the same. I got up, yawned, stretched and practically drug the rest of my body along with me.

"Want some breakfast?" Kellin asked me. This was so weird of him, he was always so cruel and mean. I never pictured him as a morning person.

"Sure" I yawned out. I sat a the table waiting for him to bring me food and just watched his body movements. The way his face muscles change when he's in full concentration. The way his body sways from each type of food he's cooking at the same time. He caught me staring and winked, causing me to blush and look away. He started to hum and the song sounded beautiful, I caught myself swaying to the music. When I looked up, he was the one staring, but again I was the one blushing and looking away.

When he handed me my plate of 3 huge pancakes loaded with syrup, eggs, hash browns and bacon. My absolute favorites. I thought this couldn't be real, he can't possibly know how how to cook this good, so I took a bite of the pancakes hoping to taste something awful. And... I really suck at getting what I want. I caught myself moaning into the food, it was just that perfect. He was laughing in a way that he expected me to be in love with it. A part of me wanted to spit it out and say if sucked and just walk away, but I'm pretty sure my taste buds and my belly would hate me forever.
