Chapter Twenty Five: Stalker

Changkyun POV

I watched as Hyungwon and Jiyeon walked away together, feeling something odd in the pit of my stomach. I was definitely jealous, but there wasn't anything I could do about it. I leaned against a wall in the pool, staring at the water as the sun was starting to set. It was a beautiful sight, but I just couldn't seem to enjoy it.

"You okay, Changkyun?" Wonho asked, swimming over to me.

I sighed, trying to pull myself together. I couldn't let anyone know I was jealous, it might get Jiyeon in trouble. "Yeah, my stomach kind of hurts." I lied.

"Do you need medicine?" Wonho asked worriedly, putting one of his beefy hands on my shoulder.

I shook my head, "No, but I think I might go up to the room."

'Perfect, if I go up to the room then maybe...'

Maybe I could follow them on their date, and, you know, make sure nothing happened.

"Alright, feel better soon, okay?" Wonho smiled at me before swimming away. Happy I had found my way out, I rushed out of the pool and grabbed a towel, drying myself off quickly before hurrying to get to the hotel room.

If I was going to follow them, then I'd need to get dressed and ready fast.

I paced in the elevator, worrying I might miss them.

As I passed the other hotel room, I pressed my ear against it. There was still movement inside and I could hear a shower running faintly, so I determined they were still in there. I hurried to the room that I shared with Minhyuk, Jooheon and Kihyun. It was already a bit of a mess, even though we hadn't been there long. Even Kihyun couldn't clean up after all of us fast enough. Jooheon and I sort of left our stuff everywhere, so it was cluttering the room. I grabbed my suitcase and rustled through it, pulling out my black jeans and a t-shirt.

After getting dressed in the black jeans and top, I put on a hat to cover my face. I pressed my ear against the wall to make sure they were still there.

"What are you doing?" I looked up to see that the others had returned from the pool. I pushed myself away from the wall, trying to come up with a lie.

"Uh... I tripped." I replied, brushing off my t-shirt.

"Why are you dressed?" Minhyuk asked, looking me up and down. "Aren't you feeling sick or something?"

"I was..." Dang it, I wasn't that good at lying. "I'm just going to get some fresh air in the lobby and grab some soup."

"Good idea, I was actually going to watch a movie and then order room service later." Kihyun replied, "I think I'll fall asleep early too."

"That sounds nice." Jooheon nodded. "I want to sleep as much as possible while here."

"Anyway, I'm going to go..." I said tentatively, grabbing my wallet and stuffing it into my jeans. "I'll be back soon."

"Alright." Kihyun sighed, laying down on the mattress, "Feel better."

I nodded, walking into the hallway.

I stared at the Areum's shared room door, wondering if maybe she and Hyungwon had already left.

I started sneaking down the hallway, hoping that maybe I'd catch them if they were leaving now. I stooped down, looking around hallways, walking towards the elevator, when I bumped into someone.
