Oh boy .... where do I even start ...
It's been abt 2 years since I've been on Wattpad, and I mean, just opening the app itself.
A couple of months after publishing the few chapters I wrote, I thought no one really like my book since I never really got many reads or reviews in general. So, I kinda gave up on my «book» and writing. I thought maybe it just wasn't good enough. I lost my passion and interest for writing and tried something new (powerlifting, which I still do and love).
A month or two ago, one of my closest friend talks abt Wattpad again. We had started writing together 2 years ago. She mentioned how I had stopped writing. I told her that I had lost what I once loved. She asked if I even wanted to continue writing, if I had any intentions of publishing anymore. I tell her that I had a chapter on hold for 2 years but I didn't want to review or even post it because what was the point. She tells me to at least post what I had worked on before. Without caring, I gave her my username and password and told her to do whatever she wanted with it and not to talk abt it again. And that was the end of our discussion. She posted the chapter for me and made some of my readers happy and some wait by promising a comeback that I wasn't aware abt. But that's that. My good friend is now my ex friend. Anyway....
During these 2 years, I stopped writing but never stopped imagining, fantasizing, and creating stories in my head. Every night I'd have new scenarios playing in my head like a movie. But I never shared them and left them in my head.
Now, 2 years later, out of PURE curiosity, I download Wattpad again, sign in and ... cry. All I see in a split second is a flood of positivity and support that pushes me to start writing again.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LOVE. I deeply apologize for not coming back sooner. I am so sorry for leaving something unfinished.
So, I AM BACK. This book will be finished. And I will write something I love and will be proud of. Even if writing doesn't become my passion again, I will still finish unfinished business.
I've just opened Wattpad a few hours ago so please be patient. I will start writing a new chapter ASAP and publish it soon.
