Sorry for the delay! I had a bad case of writer's block

"I'm sure we can find something that suits you," Mirage replies as she places a board down, it has many holes in it," Just place your fingers onto any one," she replies. Ace tilts her head and then places her hand onto the hole for a good 5 seconds.

"Now lift it," Mirage replies, Ticker and Grace watching the board carefully. In Grace's perspective, she cannot see anything." What is suppose to happen?" She asks, surprising Ace.

"You can't see it?" She asks, Grace shook her head." That's unfortunate, it literally says: Ground," Ace replies." Ah! I knew I should have just given you the rock!" Ticker exclaims." Why are we even doing this anyway? What do we gain out of this?" Ace asks.

Grace pouts, even if there is no reason, she really want to help them, it makes her think of the superheroes she loves. Not that she'll admit it out loud.

"Well, as you can see from our previous encounter with our enemy, they can turn anyone with negative feelings into monsters," Mirage explains, Grace can't contain her curiosity which made Ace a little creep out.

"They'll start destroying stuff," Ticker adds," I don't believe you, when we left everything was normal," Ace replies." On the outside it may look like so, but have you watch the news or ask your friend if she is alright?" Mirage asks.

Grace eyes widen and cautiously grabs her phone to text Angel.

Hey are you alright?

a few seconds later...

Kind of, why?

"See? I told you no problem," Ace replies. Grace blinks before typing back.

Sure?

Um... I just got a little headache, probably just from the sun

But are you alright? Should probably tell your mom before it gets worse

Grace is really happy that she still cares for her but that worries her.

"Is she going to be fine?" she asks Mirage." Sure, since you've defeated her negative feelings, she should feel even better in a few days," she replies." It might be a coincidence," Ace pouts," it might be because of the sun," she adds.

"It's evening," Grace retorts." So?" Ace asks," no need to argue over this," Mirage sighs." Next time they appear in your area, pay attention to the aftermath," she adds." Anyway now that we know what kind of elements you have, we can start training!" Ticker beams.

"No way," Ace replies," um... I'm not that good in sports," Grace adds." It's not-" Mirage frowns as Ace stands up," come on, I think dinner's ready," Ace replies and drags Grace out of the room with her.

Ticker looks at Mirage in worry, she doesn't seem that worried though.

After dinner, Ace didn't stay for very long before leaving, Grace stares into space, as if in thought before going to her room, a little hesitant as she pokes her head into her own room, which she felt silly doing.

"So, are you interested?" Mirage asks, Grace shuffles nervously," Well... I uh..." she stammers," you don't have to force yourself if you don't want to," Mirage replies, Ticker sighs and stands up." W-wait!" Grace exclaims, she looks around and enters the room, closing it.

"I am interested! B-but is there a way to like... remove my fear through magic?" she asks, Mirage replies," you can't my dear, you'll need to do that manually," she replies. Grace pouts, Mirage sighs," we will be around, that Leo fella has some great potential," she replies, Ticker tilts his head," he does?" he asks, Mirage nudges him before hopping through the window and onto the corridor outside.

"Cya," Ticker grins and leaps after her, Grace sits on her bed with a sigh, she rubs her fingers together as if trying to remember to feeling of the sword on her hands.
