Omg this pizza is the bomb! I take another bite of the flat bread covered in succulent tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. After finishing that bite, I look over at Morgan who is enjoying his own slice.

"You know, this kind of reminds me of the first time we hung out," I point out to him as memories flood into my brain.

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that!", he excitedly proclaims.

"This is your house!"

My jaw dropped to the floor as I took in the ginormous house.

There were no crumbs in site and everything had its place. I felt a little jealous. I have three older siblings and have mostly lived off of handy downs and whatever is cheapest at the store.

I gasp as I see the walls are almost non existent and instead there are huge windows in place. I'm left breathless as I gaze upon the view. What I wouldn't give to live in a place like this.

"Seriously, what job did your dad take for you to live in a place like this?!"

I move to the kitchen where Morgan had meandered to.

He shrugged his shoulders and reached for some glasses from the cupboard.

"Uhhhh, aren't your parents a little freaked out you're hanging out at a boys house?" he questioned me.

I wonder why he won't tell me what his father does.

"Ehh, not really. I have always gotten along better with guys. I spend more time with my guy friends then any girls. Girls are wayyy to much drama."

"Wait, what guys?"

He freezes as he places the cups on the table.

"Well, even though Kelly and I are friends. I've always found that I get along better with guys. Have you met Luke Larson?"

Morgan made his way to the fridge and pulled open the doors.

"Uh ya. Nice guy, I guess."

"Yeah, well we used to hang out alllll the time in elementary. He sure does love bugs."

Morgan pierced his lips together and murmured something.

"What was that?" I questioned.

"What kind of soda would you like?"

"Do you have Dr. Pepper?"

I freakin love that stuff.

"Yes, its my favorite", he grinned.

"Hit me up, homie."

"I also have some leftover pizza, I can heat some up?"

Yeah, I could live here.

"Yes. Please", I reply before adding, "as long as theres no pineapple".

After about five minutes I had a fresh cup of pop and a slice of yummy goodness.

I picked up the slice and began to dig in.

Mmmmm.

After a couple moments of silence I look over at Morgan who is staring at me.

"Do I have something on my face or something?"

I ask feeling a little embarrassed, raising my hand to wipe my face.

He quickly raises his hands and shakes his head.

"NO!"

.

"Errr sorry."

"I-I-Its just", he stumbles.

"Yeah?"

I reply as he gets closer.

He raises his hand.

Reaches towards me.

And says.

"You're eating your pizza wrong."

"HAHA," Morgan begins cackling," I remember your face after I told you that!! Haha".

He begins wiping away tears from his eyes.

"Ya, well you know not all of us eat pizza like you New Yorkers".

I puff out in defense and stuff some more pizza into my mouth.

Suddenly, my mouth felt dry and I felt an ache in my chest.

"Morgan, I have something to tell yo-"

Before I could finish my sentence Morgan exclaimed, "Oh, theres Daniele and Gloria!"

I glance to the entrance to see Daniele in sports shorts and a sweatshirt while Gloria is wearing high waisted jeans and a normal T-Shirt. Morgan begins to wave them over to our table.

"Hey, you guys. How's your summer going?" Morgan asks as he stands up to greet them.

"We haven't been up to much honestly. Not much to do in this town really haha!", Daniele replied.

"Whose this?", Daniele asks turning towards me.

"Daniele, Gloria, this is my best friend Tessie."

He introduced us to one another.

I shook hands with both of them before we all sat down to enjoy the rest of our meal. Although I wasn't so sure if I could enjoy it. Honestly, something about these two just threw me off. What am I saying. I dont even know them. I mean if Morgan likes them, then I should give them a shot.

"So, do you both go to our high school?"

I knew that Daniele did since she played softball but I wasn't sure about Gloria.

"Uh uh, I have been there since freshman year, and Gloria used to live here for a little bit during middle school but moved away. She just moved back during the summer."

"Oh, wow", I turn back towards Gloria, "that must be nice to see everyone from middle school at least."

Gloria's face light up.

"Omg yes! I missed everyone sooo much!"

For the rest of the meal Daniele, Gloria, and I continued to chat and we even joked around a bit. When we were done and it was time to head home, we were all a little sad to part.

As we were walking out the door Morgan suggested, "We should all eat lunch tomorrow at school."

"That sounds like a great idea", Gloria screamed in joy.

"Hey, Morgan?" I questioned.

"Yea, what's up shorty?"

"Tomorrow before lunch could we talk about something?".

"Sure, anything for my right hand girl", he answered while putting his arm around me and ruffled my hair.

In that moment, everything felt right.

I laughed and looked ahead, only to be met with a dark glare from Daniele.

What the hell?

I blinked and suddenly she was giggling and joking with Gloria.

Huh.
