(ch. 7) smoochy cuddle buddies

~time skip - Jades p.o.v~

I sat on the hospital bed for while. I was stuck in my mind with, what seemed to be, no way out. I kept replaying my nightmare in my head. It was like yesterday, but amplified. My heart seemed to not slow down, and my eyes seemed like they would never be dry. All I wanted was Elton right now, and it seemed like that was never going to happen. Especially not after the way I treated him earlier.

I sobbed in to my knees a little harder when I thought I had lost Elton forever. I felt a hand on my back, and I jumped a little. I hadn't hear foot steps, and it seemed like this person had just aperared out of thin air. I thought it was Valerie so I didn't do much.

"Jade?" A fimiluare voice asked.

My head shot up and I saw Elton standing next to me. A small smile appeared on my lips as I gave him a pitiful look.

He flashed a reassuring smile before he scooted me over. He claimed in to bed next to me. One arm went behind my head and the other pulled me colser to his body by my waist.

I didn't object, and instead I moved closer to him. I laid my head against him, as my finger tip scetched out a figure 8 on his chest.

"You remember the first time I was with you in a hospital?" He asked me.

I smiled and looked up at him. "Yeah, you where a mess."

"And now your a mess." He stated with a big grin.

"I have a good reason to be a mess." I stated. My brown eyes glared up at his green ones.

"Are you saying I didn't have a good reason to be a mess?" Elton flashed a fake shocked face before gasping for dramatic affect.

"Oh, come on. Amanda just cheated on you. It's not like she beat you half to death like, oh, I don't know, maybe someone like me." I joked.

Elton sighed before he said "Your right, you do have better reason to be a mess then me."

"Thank you."  My voice was soft and I flashed him a smile.

Elton stared laughing, which made me brake out in laughter too.

"Oh my god." I stated in the middle of our laughing fit.

"What? What's wrong?"Elton said, his voice a little panicked.

"How's circa?" I said with a smile.

Elton started laughing again. And I just looked at him, no smile, nothing.

"Is that it? That's what 'Oh my God' is about?" He asked with a toothy smile.

"Uh, yeah."

"Really?"

"Mhm" I said as I nodded my head.

Elton let out another laugh before saying "She's fine."

I rolled my eyes and said "really? That's all?"

Elton's eyes shifted across the room before returning to mine. "Um, yeah. She a dog, not many eventful things happen to her."

I rolled my eyes again before asking "any new doggy friends?"

Elton took a moment to think but then said "No not really, just link."

Confusion spread across my face as I asked "who's link?"

"Oh! You don't know yet!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah, obviously I don't." I deadpanned.

"She's Scott and krisen's dog." He chukled out.

"Oh, ok. Has she chewed anything expensive, lately?" I asked with a smile.

"Uh, not really. Just a few very expensive pieces of equipment." He said nonchalantly.

I put on a devilish smile and I let a out a laugh before saying "that's my girl. I thought her well."

Elton looked at me like I was crazy. "You tought- wait, What?"

My eyebrows raised and I said "I don't know what your jabbering on about, but I didn't say anything. Your nuts."

A smile grew on Eltons face as he laughed "oh, shut up"

I smiled back at him, but it quickly fadded. "You know, as soon as I get the hell out of this hospital I going to beat the shit out of your girlfriend."

His eyes quickly looked away from mine as he said "actually, she isn't my girlfriend anymore."

"Oh, why? She seemed smar- uh, kinda nic- mmm nope, I mean, she wasn't the worst thing to look at?"

"Because she was horibal, but mostly because she disrespected you." His eyes moved back to mine. I felt my face get hot as I blushed, and there's no doubt that I looked like a tomato.

"You know she said I wasn't raped, that I did all of this for attention."I said, finaly making eye contact with Elton. My vision clouded as tears filled my eyes.

"She's a bitch. In sorry she said that to you. Everyone knows you didn't do any of this, especially not for attention."

A singel tear fell from my eye. Eltons hand slowly moved to my face and his thumb wiped it away. His finger lightly rubbed my bruised cheekbone and our eyes where locked. I felt my heart beat speed up as Elton moved me closer to me. He shut his eyes and he leaned down. I smiled and shut mine, I leaned up and put lips collided. It was amazing. It felt like the whole world had stopped and time was frozen. And when we finaly pulled away we were both gasping messes.

"This does not mean we're freaking  smoochy cuddle buddies." I gasped out.

Elton looked at me, his breathing finaly stabilizing. His eyes moved up and down my body before saying "right now we're quite litteraly smoochy cuddle buddies, so I don't know what your talking about."

"Shh, you know what I mean." I said as I finaly caught my breath.

He raised one of his eye brows at me before saying. "What? do you mean we're not dating?"

"Ugh, yes. You know, Sometimes your really difficult." My eyes rolled as I tucked my head in to his chest.

"Wow, that makes me fell real grate." He joked.

"But, I love it." I mumbled in to his chest.

"What?"

I pulled my face away from him so I could tell him to be quiet. I looked up to his eyes, he quickly peaked my lips. I smiled and asked "What was that for?"

He smiled back down at me. "we both know we're 'smoochy cuddle buddy's'" he mocked

"Shhh!" I said with a smile then went back in to the position I had just been in.

I listened to eltons breath as I took comfort in his wormth. His breathing evened out and he started to lightly snore, he had fallen asleep. And soon after I fell asleep too.
