Miles POV

First day at a new school, again. This time I'm staying. I'm always moving around because of my family and my dad's campaigns. I have never had a steady relationship because I'm always moving but now I'm staying here in Toronto so I plan of getting a girlfriend.

I have to say I saw a really cute blonde girl walk by me and she smiled at me. I hope I have some classes with her so I can get to know her.

The bell rings so I walk to French class. When I got there I saw the blonde girl sitting in the back so I go and sit next to her.

"Hi I'm Miles Hollingsworth, I'm new here." I said to the blonde girl

"Hi Miles! I'm Maya Matlin! are you a Sophomore?"

"Umm yeah are you?"

"Yeah! it's nice to meet you! can I see you time table?"

I handed her my list of classes and she told me what ones we had together. I was very happy to know that we had almost every class together.

She handed me back my list when the teacher started calling off names.

"Miles Hollingsworth?" the teacher called my name

"Here!"

"Maya Matlin?"

"Here!" her voice was so beautiful

"Campbell Saunders?"

"Umm he's at hockey practice he is running late." Maya told the teacher

"Ok then we-" the teacher was cut off by a boy walking in the room. he had a red jacket on that looked like a sports jacket he said,

"Sorry I'm late mam I was at practice!" the boy said walking towards me and Maya

"That's alright Campbell just take a seat next to Maya!"

Cam came and sat next to Maya, taking her hand in his

"Cam this is Miles Hollingsworth! Miles this is Cam, my boyfriend!"

When she said boyfriend I got a little upset, I wanted her to be single so we could go out!

As class started the teacher talked about starting a project and we needed partners I hope Maya will work with me.

"Ok everyone! pick your partners!" the teacher said sitting at her desk

"Hey Maya could we work together? I don't know anyone else in this class." I asked her sweetly

"Back off buddy me and Maya are always partners!" Cam told me in a angry voice

"Cam stop it! I would love to Miles! Cam it's only one project!" Maya said to both of us

Maya and I started our project and when class was over I asked for her number so we could work on it after school at my house. when she walked into the hallway I walked to my locker.
