Chapter 1 - 0.01% Chance Unexpected

Prologue:
"Life is unexpected. You'll never know what's around the corner. It could be good or bad, but whatever it is, I'll take that chance to experience something new. I may regret it, but I hope I don't."

Homeless man: "Spare some change sir?"
Commoner: "The hell? Get a job old man!"
Hoshi: "Here, it's all I've got at the moment, too bad money are all paperless these days, haha. I'll bring some food for you later okay old man? Don't let those bullies push you around! Keep hanging in there!"
Homeless man: "Thank you so much. Take care of yourself."
Hoshi: "Haha okay! See ya soon!"
Homeless man: "Such a happy child."

Thugs: "Yo, gimme your money. Beat it pal!"
Homeless man: "It's all I have. Please don't take it!"
Hoshi: (turns around.) "Huh?"
Thugs: "Don't make this any harder for us! Give it up!"
Hoshi: "Hey! Leave him alone!" (Runs to the old man as the gangsters takes the money and walks away.)
Hoshi: "What a bunch of low lives."
Thugs: "What did you say man?!" (Rushes towards Hoshi.)
Hoshi: (points to the old man.) RUUUUNNNN! (Starts to run.)
Thugs: "This'll teach you never to mock us Reds!" (Catches and beats up Hoshi.)

(A yellow-star shaped hair boy jumps over one of the thugs knocking him down And continues to run in his current direction.)
Thugs: "What the hell was that?"
Koro: "OUT OF MY WAY BASTARDS!" (Shoves everyone down while chasing the yellow haired boy.)
Thugs: "woah! Hey! You won't get away with that! After them!" (Chases Koro and leaves Hoshi.)

Hoshi: "Hey! Give that money back! Take care of yourself, I'll be back soon old man!"
Homeless man: "It is wise to stay out of trouble young man."
Hoshi: "I'll take my chances! See ya!"
Homeless man: "Kids these days..."

(The yellow-star shapes hair kid dashes across a busy street.)
HOONNKKKKK! KKKKRRSSSHHH!
(A car crashes into Koro.)
Koro: "Tsk, DAMMIT! GAH!" (Gets up from the huge dent Koro made upon impact of the car and Continues chasing after the kid.)
Thugs: "Over there! Come on!" (Runs pass the accident.)
Hoshi: "What the... "
Citizen: "Hey come on! Who's gunna pay for this?!"
Hoshi: "Eheheh... Sorry." (Abruptly stops with an apologetic smile and continues after the group.)

Koro: DAMMIT! STOP RUNNING WOULD YA?! (Pulls a vending machine off the ground and Throws it at the yellow star shaped hair boy.)  "OUT OF MY WAY BASTARDS!" (Shoving people out of his way.)
(The boys and thugs run past a few people.)
Thugs: "Aah! Get em! Don't lose sight of him!
Hoshi: What the heck is this? He just threw a vending machine! Ah! Sorry! Excuse me! (Hoshi runs through a crowd of people.)

(The young boy in the lead dodges the vending machine as it crashes into a fire hydrant spouting water at the thugs. Hoshi manages to pick pocket them his money.)

Hoshi: "Aw man, now it's all wet."
Thugs: "Hey! What are you doing?"
Hoshi: "uh oh!" (Runs after the other two.)
Thugs: "Get back here!"
Hoshi: "This isn't good! Why did it have to come to this?!"
(Hoshi manages to catch up with the yellow star shaped hair boy. The boy gave him a surprised expression, amazed as to how he was able to keep up with his speed. The two ran into a dead end of an alley way. The thugs caught up and cornered them with their weapons swinging about ready to attack.)
Thugs: "You guys got some nerve wrecking our day. You're on Red's turf and you're gunna pay for crossing into our territory."
(Koro manages to stop at the opening of the alley way feeling lost. He stops to catch his breath. He notices the thugs cornering something.)
Koro: "Dammit! Did I get lost?! Gah! This is so irritating! Huh? Those are the guys from before. Huh? You!"
Thugs: "Now to teach you two a less-"
Koro: "AAARRGGGHHHH!" (Runs through them and stops in front of the boys.) "Hand over what you stole!"
Hoshi: "S-Stole?"
Boy: "Tsk..."
Koro: "Don't make me repeat it!"
(Thug yells out a battle cry as he hits Koro on the back of his head with a steel pipe. Koro budges slightly forward. His head bled.)
Koro: "Sighs... tsk... that really hurts... Did you know you could've killed me with a well-aimed strike like that?.. (turns to the thugs.) You just totally made my day!
(From the side view of the open alley. One thug shoots out from the alley and crashes into a car across the street. The rest of the thugs scrambles out from the alley and flees.)
