One week later.

Y/N's P.o.V

We were setting up our gig for tonight, I am the lead singer and synth player for my band called the Dangerkids.
It contains me, Kyrie as the drummer and back up vocals and my close friend Johnathan as lead guitar.

Jenni was at home babysitting Kyrie, Roman and Neo were there as well. They keep popping in and out of my life but when I brought up that they can babysit Willow, Neo jumped at it and I can't blame her the bond that they have is almost as strong as my bond with her.

"Ayo n/n (nickname) time to play"

"Aight Johnny, where's Kyrie?"

"She's waiting to go in stage so come on"
He nags me.

"Alright..."

He grabs my shoulder and turns me to look at him.

"Bro, I know how personal this song is for you and I'm sure he's watching over you, proud of the man you've become."

I smile at him and give him a bro hug.

"Thanks man, let's go"

We meet up with Kyrie and and go on stage.

"HEY ATLAS! HOW'S IT GOING!!?"
I scream to the crowd.

The crowd just cheer back getting hyped.

"Alright, alright now settle down... I wanna start this show with a tribute song... A tribute to the man who built me with the morals I have... My father... Please listen and if you can relate hold on to the memory and never let it die..."
I signal to my band to start playing as I sing.

[Verse 1]
Do you believe in happy endings?
Or the mendings of human hearts?
Oh I believe in both I'm certain
Because these curtains are state of the art
If you'd occasionally happen to spy on me
You'd think I'm having one sided conversations
But I hear him talking back
You'd think I may even lack some sanity
But maybe I can't let go
And so I'll say

[Chorus]
I finally wrote your song at last
Sorry that this one came out so sad
Every tear I had was shed for the man
That gave me a better sense of life and meaning
To motivate there's no short cuts to success
I'll wait for his guiding hands
My guardian angel until the very end

[Verse 2]
I see a cold seat on the couch where I remember
That just four years ago around December
You sat me down and held me next to you, so close
How I long for things to be restored
To back when times weren't quite this hard
In the car that song you sang to me
Never rang so loud before

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh what I'd give, for just another hug from you
You may be gone, but love will never die
And so I'll say

[Chorus]
I finally wrote your song at last
Sorry that this one came out so sad
Every tear I had was shed for the man
That gave me a better sense of life and meaning
To motivate there's no short cuts to success
I'll wait for his guiding hands
My guardian angel until the very end

[Bridge]
Tears can't run dry, when I start to cry
When I hear people speak of how you'd be so proud of me
And how I hope this song will reach your ears
I battled all my darkest fears
I once was blind but now it's clear
Wherever I go I know that you'll be near
