PROLOGUE!

carson gilpen was a fighter. the baddest of bad. she was trained to do one thing and one thing only, fight. she knew that no matter what, you don't back down.
she was trained by hydra, being prepped into the next winter soldier before she was rescued. natasha romanoff was sent in to kill all of the remaining hydra killed but when she met carson, natasha knew she couldn't walk away from her. natasha took carson back and with a little help from nick fury, no one would ever believe she was the killer.
but just because everybody else didn't know didn't mean that carson didn't. the nightmares of the kills, the pain she put others through, the pain she went through. after the incidents of new york, carson felt the weight of the world leaning down on her.
but slowly, tony stark found his way into her life. the two connected like no other. both left the events of new york and the hydra bases with ptsd and were together because of that.
