Chapter 3: New home

"Hello again~," he says, smirking at me. I groan and fall back onto the bed, looking up at the roof of the room. "We'll give you a minute," the nurse says, yanking PGS out of the room and closing the door. He and the wolf pack walk over, stopping in front of me and smirking. "So you need some help?" someone says, the others snickering. I sit up and glare at them, my face once again turning red. "I don't need help, I can make my way through the school with no problem!" I say, scooting towards the edge of the bed, placing my feet on to the ground. I take a deep breath and stand up, still gripping onto the bed. I take my hand off the bed and I immediately go down. I'm picked up from the ground and I squeak, wrapping my arms around the wolf who picked me up. One of them picks up my bag and the other picks up Sam. "Put me down!" I say my face beet red. They ignore me though, continuing to walk out of the door. We walk down the hallway and t stares and whispers from the monsters we pass. 'God, this is humiliating' I think to myself. We walk into the gym and I'm placed down on the bleachers, along with Sam and my bag. They walk off and I realize that its time for gym. "Goddammit," I mutter, looking at Sam. He barks and licks my hand, sniffing it. "Alright students! Were doing my favorite! Dodgeball!" the coach yells, students groaning but forming teams. Coach blows the whistle and balls are thrown. "Hey, why aren't you in there?" Coach asks me, running over and standing in front of me, his hands on his hips and a confused but happy expression on his face. "Um, I can't walk like at all sir," I tell him, Sam growls lowly but loudly and I shush him. "Nonsense! Just get in there and work out!" He says, grabbing my hand despite my protests and yanks me up and pushes me towards the court. I fall but catch myself, my hair covering my face. I use my arms to sit up and lift my head up, shoving my hair out my face. Sam runs over and licks my cheek, whimpering. "Oh, so you weren't lying?" Coach says behind me. "No, no I wasn't," I say, trying to tell Sam I'm ok. "Are you ok?" someone asks, holding out there hand. I look up and see another werewolf but with kind blue eyes and a beard. "Um, yeah I'm ok It's just I can't really walk," I tell him, grabbing his hand anyway and trying to get on my knees. "Oh here let me help!" He says, his tail wagging when he bends down and picks me up, walking over to where the bleachers are. He sets me down and gasps when he sees Sam, sitting down on the floor and petting his head. Sam barks happily and nuzzles into his hand, licking it as well. My phone rings and I grab it, seeing a message from Andre about my apartment. Andre- everything is there and set up. Rose- thanks dick stick   Andre-could you not?!     Rose- I'm not going to respect a fucking cheater.  (end of texts)   I sigh and shove my phone back into my pocket. "Thank god I get my car back today.." I mutter, looking back up at Sam and the kind werewolf only to see no one there. I see the wolf pack on the other side of the gym. I feel movement in my left leg and I look down and see I can move my left leg! "Yes!" I say, quickly stretching it out. 'Mabey I can hop on one foot?' I think to my self, looking around to see if gym is almost over. I scan around the room and see unicorn, some fire chick and wolf boy with Sam between them looking at fire girl and unicorn terrified. "Mother..." I growl out. I whisper a spell and point my finger at the two. Water shoots out and blasts them away from Sam. I whistle and Sams' head shoots towards me and runs over, jumping on me and barking. "Did unicorn hurt you, buddy? I ask him, rubbing his neck and head. He shakes his head, panting in excitement. "Did they just scare you then?" I ask him, holding his face between my hands. He nods his head and barks, trying to get out of my hands to cuddle. I laugh and let go of his face, giggling when he shoves his face into my stomach. "Steak day!" someone yells into the open gym door from the hall, running away after. I hear roars coming from the changing room and every student that was in there runs out, trampling one another. I squeak and grab Sam and my bag, falling backward into the bleachers. Sam falls on me but I don't care, watching all the students run out of the gym to the lunch room. I see the wolf packs heads in the midst of the crowd but I ignore them cause I'm more concerned about keeping my feet from being hit. Once all the students are out I sigh, trying to figure out how I'm going to get to lunch. I try to lift my legs and it...works? Oh my god, it worked! I sit up and push my self out of the bleachers and stand up, grabbing my bag and walking towards the door. Sam barks and jumps out of the bleachers, trotting behind me towards the lunch room. We hear screaming and yelling inside and we look at each other, slightly scared to go in. I decided to look through the window on the door to see whats going on. When I do I see piles and piles of students trying to get the door to open while they are surrounded in fire. "Sam! get behind the door when I open them!" I tell him, grabbing onto the locked door handles. Sam gets ready to move and I yank the doors open, hiding behind them with Sam while watching everyone pour out. When no one else has come out I stand in front of the doorway and say the spell from earlier, waves and waves of water blasting out my fingertips and watch as it burned out the fire. When it was done all the water slowly came back to me. When there is no water anywhere I sigh and drop my hand to my side, feeling drained. I fall to my knees and hold my head, tears forming in my eyes. "Haven't used it like that in a long time.." I mutter to myself, letting the tears fall. I take a deep breath and stand up, wiping my tears away. I turn around and walk out towards the exit of the school, Sam next to me. I open the door and walk out, seeing PGS and the schools faculty walking around taking the roll on all the students. "May I have your attention! Sadly school will be out for three days from the damage done today. I will see you all on Friday, you may leave!" PGS shouts over all the students. Everyone cheers and starts leaving, chatting with one another. I smile and look down at Sam, crouching to his level so I can talk to him. "Sam, we are going to our new home early! But I'll need you to have your leash on since we are walking. Is that ok bud?" I question him, already looking for his leash. He barks and sits down, showing me the ring on his collar for the leash. I find the leash and clip it on, standing up and start walking away from the school. I walk past Andre and his new fling. I hear him scoff but I ignore him, continuing to walk my new apartment. It takes us an hour but we make it, walking up the steps to our new apartment.
