Is This Really Happening?

Chapter 22

*Natalie's POV*

One morning I woke up and went into the bathroom. I started having cramps and then I screamed at the sight. I had just had a miscarriage. I was devastated and didn't want to do anything. I blamed myself for holding a grudge so long and not talking to Harry. I didn't know why it had to happen to me, but it did.

I took a week off from work to just cope at all the things that happened to me. I knew I had to tell Harry and wasn't really looking forward to it. I decided I would tell him after work today.

I pulled up into the closest parking space and looked up at the building. It was a hot June day and I couldn't believe I had landed this career. It was my dream job I had growing up. I walked into my office and logged onto my computer.

"Hello Natalie, how is your day going? Would you like your usual?" my assistant asked politely.

Even though I was only 18 seventeen magazine hired me as to start a new thing in their magazine. They thought a youthful voice would be a good addition. I wrote advice columns to young teenage girl about what I would do in their situation. I also had my own assistant but she was actually just an intern.

"Not doing to well, I'm still getting over my loss" I replied back. I started working. Ashlyn my assistant came back in with my coffee. "Thank you Ashlyn" I said slipping her a tip. I always gave her a little extra money for all the things she does for me.

"Your welcome" she said as she turned to walk out the door. She turned back around, "Oh yeah you have a visitor" Ashlyn said.

"Who is it" I asked.

"He wouldn't give me a name he just said it was important." she replied.

"Okay send him in" I said.

She walked out the door and I could hear her talking to the person saying that they could go in.

"Thank you" I heard the person say and it sounded exactly like Harry's voice.
