I've finally boarded the plane and I'm so,so excited. I'm finally going to see my mom for the first time in years, and to crown that, I'm going to a country I've never been before. I love adventures and I've never felt more ready for any like this one.
I leaned near the window as i watched the veins of New york. I was finally leave my invading dad and his pompous wife.. A duo i wasn't particularly fun of.
"What's it that's got you so happy ?" The lady by my side asked, she was probably in her mid forties and she looked really elegant "you've been smiling since we took off.. Are you going to meet your lover ?" She asked with an inviting smile.
"Not really, I'm going to see my mom."
"I see, a long time without each other ? "
"A very long time" i confirmed with a slight nod
"That'll be an amazing reunion. An impatient daughter with a happy mom, how adorable"
"Indeed !" I answered with a smile
"How i wish it was the case with my daughter " she said with a heavy sigh "the looks i receive from my daughter are very distant and sour. I must admit that she's very hard headed and doesn't seem to cope with my strict ways"
and that reflects on her formal coat and silky hair style. She looked very polished and refined, that kind who will throw a fit if a strand of hair cale out of her perfectly made chignon.
"especially when it comes to.men and advice on how a real lady must behave. Actually, I'm heading gor her fourth marriage, second this year" she said with a little chuckle at the look on my face.
4th marriage ?? Second this year ?! Naaaahh that girl's fire tho..
"Don't be so shocked.. You haven't heard her age yet" "she's 23, 24 next month"
"You can't be serious.. "
"Oh yes i am. I guess she's probably your age.. "
"Yes she is.. Just a year older"
"At her age , she's caught up between divorce arrangements, wedding plans and bustling half naked in London streets" " i can't help to wonder at times if I'd gone wrong somewhere, somehow. I feel like a bad mother".
"I see how the other ladies look at me, with disdain and reproach at my daughter's reputation, but what can i do ??" She said with tears at the brim of her eyes. "I've tried to speak to her but she won't listen, what can i do ?? I can't reject her for God's sake. She's my only child and i love her so much.." the tears finally rolled down her chicks and she quickly wiped them.
"She's all i have and i can't bear to loose her" "what would i be without her ??"
Oh No!! I hate finding myself in such situations. I don't know how to calm someone or say the right words.. It gets me really nervous, but i won't blame her for confiding in me, she's surely taken more than she could.
I leaned foward and wrapped my arms around her, i couldn't help it.
"Don't worry, some lessons are learned with time"
Wait....was that too cliché ?!
"I doubt it is the case with her."
"I'm scared she might be too broken by the time she realizes what she's doing. I feel like I'm going to loose her, wich i can't afford to do. She's all i have" she said trying to regain composure on her sit.
"I'm sure you'll be happy with your daughter if she changes, but I guess u can simply accept the situation the way it is and leave it time." I said, trying to console her.
Jasmine make use of all the Norman Peale and Miles Munroe... It's time.
"You have to let go the need to control what you can't. I tell you all happens on purpose on this earth, and i bet you, She'll find a man who will be able to tame her wild spirit and definitely change her"

"I'm sorry for throwing my problems at your face. I just don't know what took over me!"
"I understand, and it was a pleasure listening to you." I replied with a smile.
As we spoke tge whole way, i discovered she was Melisa Stone, one of those ponty wedding planners in Beverly Hills.
We exchanged mails and she disembarked in London.
The journey was going to be long and i was quite tired, I'd barely slept yesterday, and I had to make up for that.
