Hi everyone! Hoping running this will get a little less stressful with my show closing this weekend, and a few of my hours coming back to me lol. But regardless, it would be a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE help if people would make sure they are on top of things. I have a number of people who have told me, hey I'm going to be out of town can you pause me for next week and that's great!! But I also get people who tell me, hey I WAS out of town, sorry I didn't finish. I truly appreciate that you let me know at all, but there are over thirty of us now, and it's very confusing when I have messages coming from all over the place and some are referring to this week and some to three weeks ago, etc.
Obviously things come up. If you have a family emergency or something, I'm not going to be mad that you didn't put this online book club as your number one priority. But if it's something you knew in advance like a trip or a big week at school/work, or family coming into town or something else that you could have warned me about so I just wouldn't pair you up for that week, that gets a little frustrating.
Long story short, as much as possible, let me know ahead of time so I can keep my sanity :)
You guys are all fantastic and I love the community we're building but it is a lot to juggle sometimes with my real life so the more you all can do to be on top of your assignments and up front with me about when you can't get them done, the easier and more fun this will be for everyone! There are way too many people who haven't completed there assignments tagged at the bottom. I'd LOVE to see that list shrinking every week.
