All I Ever Need

Chapter 5

**1 Month Later**

Thomas' POV

Kenzie had flown back to LA shortly after Louis left her and the baby. She didn't want to stay with us and said she had to fly back to LA, find a house, and figure things out on her own. I told her before she left that she could call us at any time. Iz had to go back to cause she had to go back to work. At least I knew that Ken had someone close by if she ever needed anyone. I was currently on the set of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials with Dylan, Kaya, Will, and Ki Hong. We were in the middle of filming when my phone buzzes.

I ignore it until I finish the scene, then pull it out to see that I have a missed call from Iz. I quickly call her back.

I: Tommy?

T: Iz, what going on? Why are you crying?

I: It's Ken, we got into an accident and had to be airlifted to the hospital. I literally just woke up and I immediately called you.

T: Oh my god, are you guys okay?

I: I'm fine. I was driving and the car hit her side of the car, causing us to spin out. I'm fine, just have some scratches and some bruises. But Ken... Oh my god, Tommy, she looked really bad. They rushed her to surgery as soon as we got here. I haven't heard anything yet, but I figured you should know.

T: I'm calling our pilot right now. I'm coming home, Iz.

I: I love you, To-

T: Iz? Isabella?

The call cuts out and I fall to the floor. Ki Hong and Dylan are by my side immediately.

"Tommy, talk to us. What's going on?" Dylan asks.

"Iz and Ken are in the hospital. They were in an accident and Iz's call cut out. She wouldn't answer me when I tried calling her name. She was fine one minute and then she wouldn't answer me. She got cut off in the middle of her sentence, she wouldn't answer me. And- and Ken is surgery. And- and-" I ramble, but Dylan cuts me off.

"Ki, call Tommy's pilot and tell him we need a ride to LA." Dylan instructs Ki Hong.

"Already on it!" He replies.

Dylan helps me off the ground and takes me to his car. He said he'd send someone to pick up my car later and bring it back to my rental. We drive back to my house and pack a bunch of stuff, cause I don't know how long I'll be there for. We head to Dylan's house next so he can pack some stuff. Will, Kaya, and Ki Hong meet us on the runway. We take off shortly after we get there and get the plane all packed up.

As soon as we get off the plane, we take a cab directly to hospital.

I walk up to the desk, "Isabella Messing and Kenzie Thompson?" I ask.

"What relationship do you have with them?" The receptionist asks.

"Isabella is my fiance and Kenzie is my friend." I reply.

"Isabella is in the intensive care unit. I can't release information on Kenzie since you aren't immediately family." She replies.

"Look, Kenzie's relatives are all dead and her family died in a car accident years ago. I'm the only family she has left. I'm the only one on her emergency contact list, besides Isabella Messing." I tell her.

"Okay, fine. Kenzie is also in the intensive care unit. She is in the room right next to Isabella. There rooms are 314 and 315." She tells me.

I send out a tweet on the elevator ride up.

@SangsterThomas: Production on the next Maze Runner movie have been postponed until further notice. I have a family emergency back home that requires my full attention right now. Please pray for Kenzie Thompson and Isabella Messing!

We get to the third floor and step into Iz's room first. As soon as I see her, I fall into Ki's arms, crying. Ki is trying not to tear up himself.

"I'm so sorry, Tommy. This shouldn't be happening to you. This shouldn't be happening to any of us, especially Iz and Ken." He whispers to me, trying to comfort me as best he can.

"She was fine one minute, then the next..." I say, trailing off.

"She's gonna make it, Tommy. They're both gonna make it! They're both fighters, they're gonna make it." He assures me.

Once I've calmed down, I go to visit Ken. Just as I enter her room, I hear the heart monitor start to go off.

"What's going on?" I ask the doctor that's rushing into the room with a bunch of nurses.

"I'm sorry, you need to leave!" He says.

I go back to Iz's room and sit next to her bed, taking her hand in mine.

"Iz, you gotta wake up. Love, I need you! I need you now more than ever. So, I need you to fight. Fight for us, fight for Kenzie. I can't lose you! We haven't even had our forever yet! I want to grow old with you, so I need you to fight for your life. Please, I can't live this life without you!" I tell her.

Dylan comes into the room, "The others went to go get something to eat. Do you want to try go visit Kenzie again?" He asks.

"Yeah sure, you stay here and come get me immediately as soon as she wakes up." I reply.

"Of course!" He replies.

I head to Ken's room and set a chair by her bed and take a hold of her hand, holding it in mine.

Just then, the others walk back into the room, handing me some food.

Dylan then comes running into the room, "Iz is awake, she's asking for you." He says.

Then, the last person I want to see walks into the room and all I can think is, "You have got to be fucking kidding me!"
