Chapter VII
I heard the door knob turn and look up to see Bucky's face. "Buck... hey! I uh.." I tried to catch the words I wanted to say. "Paisley, is everything okay?" He said to me. I felt like I knew what I wanted to say but I could not find the words. "No it's not actually... I'm uh you know.." I trail off looking at the floor chewing on my lip a little. Why can't you just say "I can't sleep and I was wondering if I could maybe possibly sleep with you?" The more I think about it that's weird. Maybe this as a bad idea. "Bucky I-." I'm cut off by him saying "can you not sleep?" I felt my eyes widen and my cheeks fill in a light shade of red. I felt his finger touch my chin and lift it up so I'm looking into his bright blue eyes. I just simply nod while having my breath taken away. We really formed a bond in that room. We were always there for each other. Even when we couldn't touch each other. "Come on." He said setting his hand out for me to grab. I slowly felt myself take control and take his hand. He lead me inside the room and I hear him close the door behind him. "I know how you feel.." he said as he picked me up as if I was a princess. I wrapped my arms around his neck and wondered if he remember the time he kissed me..
Flashback
He closed the gab between us. The kiss felt like it lasted forever. It was wonderful and I felt so safe with his lips against mine. We moved so in sync, then I started to think. When was the last time he kissed someone. I wonder if he even remembered his first one. After the kiss he told me to go back before they came in to do something so I obeyed.

He gently set me on the bed. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead. "I'll sleep over here." He said as he took a seat in the chair. "Are you sure? I can sleep somewhere else Bucky." I said wanting to give him comfort too. "No it's okay. Have a nice rest. You've had to deal with me you deserve at least that" He said smiling at me.

I nodded and awkwardly laid down on the bed with no covers covering my body. It felt weird even being on a bed, or even to cover myself up. It's seems so foreign to me. I close my eyes and try my best to fall asleep. I wake up. I sit up and there's no one here. Where's Bucky? I get up to see if I can find him. I hear water on in the bathroom so I assume it is him. I wait for a while. About 30 minutes go by. And then about another goes by. I start to get worried so I knock on the door. "Bucky? Are you okay?" I said. I knock one more and the door opens a little. What is this? I open the door all the way and the shower is on. It's so hot in the bathroom I can barley breathe with all the steam in the room. "Bucky?" I said. There was no answer. I start to get curios so I open the curtain and there is no one in the shower. The next thing I know I'm falling and I hit my head on the sink and it's black. I wake up tied to my chair. The chair that I always was in while with hydra. I look around for Bucky and he's standing over me. "I got her." He said to someone I couldn't see. "Welcome back Miss. Lauren." I hear. I felt the panic build up in my stomach . "Bucky? What's going on?!" I scream at him. He just stares at me with a blank expression. I start to freak out not knowing what's going to happen to me next. I felt a hand told my head to side and a big needle enter my neck. I felt the serum flow through my veins. I stretch out my hands and see a blue light start to go glow from them. The light grew brighter and brighter.
"Paisley" I hear someone say. "Paisley wake up." I being shaken, and I feel myself jump in fright of being back in that room with those people. I look around and I see Bucky standing in front of me. "Buck! Where are we? What's..." then I realize that we're in the room. Bucky's room. In the tower. Tony's tower.... Was I dreaming? "Paisley you were screaming and you fell off the bed." I heard Bucky say. "We heard you from down the hall." I heard another voice say. I looked to my left to see Steve Tony and even Sam. I smile at them and say "I had a bad dream." I start to stand up but my legs went wobbly and before I could fall Tony caught me. "Well it must have been really bad if you can't even stand." He said. I look down and don't want to talk about my dream. Bucky was just getting better and I don't want him to think anything bad of himself. "It wasn't that bad, my body must just be..." I caught myself not knowing what to say in my own sentence. "Your body must be shaken up. You need to relax and calm down Paisley." Sam says to me patting my head. I'm not a dog and I'm not helpless. Well maybe a little helpless especially now. "Try to get some more sleep. And if it gets that bad then Bucky here will be able to wake you up." Steve said to me. "And if he can't I'm sure we will hear your screams." Said Tony as he sat me on the bed again. "Thank you guys it means a lot to me." I said smiling at them. I set my head on the pillow and tried to sleep again.

"Sweetheart " I hear someone say. I open my eyes and I'm somewhere else. The sky is bright blue, and there's green grass and trees all around me. "sweetheart. I'm going to find you." I hear a woman say. I realize that I am inside a bush. What is happening? I hear someone walking towards me and they separate the bush leaves "HA! I found you darling!" I see a woman with beautiful brown eyes. Her hair is long, black and curly. She picks me up and holds me close. "Oh I love you Paisley. Let's go see what daddy's up to!" She says while carrying me to a huge house. "Derek!" She said while we walked through the front door. She sets me on the floor. I decided to follow her. The floors are a dark wooden floor and the walls are white marble. We walk up a staircase that has a dark blue carpet. When we get to the top there is a picture of a little girl a woman and a man. Is that me? Mom? Dad? I follow the woman to a room with a big bed. I hear music coming from the balcony. We walk through the doors and see a man with his back to us sitting in a chair. He is moving a bow against a cello. The music is amazing. He puts his cello down and stands up. He walks over to us and kisses the woman on the cheek. He looks down to me and crouches down so we are face to face. His hair is brown and short. He has a beard and his eyes are bright blue. "Hey pumpkin!" He says to me planting a kiss on my forehead. I feel myself lift my arms out to him and he picks me up. "Let's get some food in that little tummy" he says as he tickles my stomach.

I wake up on the floor. My head is on Bucky's lap and he is sound asleep. The dream felt so real. I decide to get up and walk out of the room. I start to rush down the hall trying to find Tony. "Jarvis, where is Tony?" I ask. " He is all the way down the hall in the room to your left ma'am." He says to me. "Thank you Jarvis!" I say back. I run down and knock on the door. The door opens and I see a woman with orange hair. "You must be Paisley?" She says to me. "Yes... I'm sorry what's your name?" I ask her feeling silly. "Oh I'm Pepper." She says. "Honey who's at the- Paisley is everything okay?" Tony says showing up behind Pepper. "I had another dream. It was about my parents I think." I said to him. "Well maybe we can find some more information. Follow me." He said kissing Pepper before leaving. I follow him up to the top of the tower and I lay down on a table while he puts these sticky things with wires coming out of them on my head. "Just relax." He said.
