-PROLUGE-
Ruby awoke with her mother's soft tan pelt rubbing against herself, "Awake already Ruby?" Ruby's mother Rose purred, licking her pelt softy "Your father is outside," Rose moved her tail towards Ruby's flank, telling her to join him. Rose scoffed at her mother, Ruby and his father, Sorall, don't get into much bonding, although he did keep her warm during chilled nights, while Rose had treatment for her cold. Ruby walked outside meeting Sorall sitting looking towards the wind, "Ahh, Ruby! Sit, sit,"Sorall lowered his tail, moving it in a hand motion, signaling for Ruby to join him in the cold breeze "It's mighty cold," Ruby remarked, spatting at Sorall "You can take it, don't be as shrill as a kit," Sorall responded wrapping his tail around Ruby's flank to warm her. "I am a kit!" Ruby hissed silently. Sorall flinched at Ruby's back sass "Well I came to share a dream with you, I want to tell you all about Starclan," Sorall started smiling as if this "Starclan" was an old friend "Starclan? Is that what the wild cats believed in?" Ruby said, far more interested. "Yes.." Sorall seemed surprised "I believe still in Starclan" Sorall was once a ShadowClan Warrior, but was exiled after becoming Deputy and refusing to disobey the Warrior code, that's when Rose and Sorall met "Starclan must've given up on you" Ruby said frowning "Starclan never gave up on me, I wish I could visit the Moonstone! Then I would know all my answers!" Sorall fussed.

"What answers?" Ruby said.
