"You look gorgeous, Darien." Jonathan smiled, opening his car door to allow me to climb in.
I smiled, a blush rising to my cheeks.
It had been 2 weeks since he had asked me to be with him, now we were going on a date.
As I was seated comfortably in his car, he shut the door and jogged to the other side, taking his position driving.
"Where are we going?" I asked, admiring him as he drove.
"Its a surprise," he answered, a smile playing at his lips. Mischief in his bright blue eyes.
"Come on," I whined, resting my chin in my hand, elbow propped against the center console.
"Nope." He said, staring straight ahead to drive.
It only took a few minutes for us to arrive at our towns small fairground.
It had been the opening week - he knew how much I wanted to go.
We wandered the fair for hours, the ferris wheel was the only ride we went on more than twice.
Jonathan had even won me stuffed animals at a few games - mainly small ones.
It wasn't long until we were headed back to my house for him to drop me off.
We were overwhelmingly tired.
He pulled into the driveway, shutting the car off and getting out with me.
He walked me to the door, kissing me lightly as a goodbye before he said it, it was perfect.
I watched as he drive away, waiting for his car to be out of view before I went inside.
