I yawn, stretching out all of my limbs as I try to wake myself up and successfully stay awake. Chris lays beside me, fast asleep. His dark lashes lay perfectly against his cheeks as he sleeps, causing me to smile widely. He's so beautiful. Even when sleeping. I'm pretty sure I, however, look like a complete slob when sleeping.

I peel the blankets back from my legs and sit up, gaze flitting across the room before I swing my legs over the side and press my feet into the cold tile. I stand, holding back the yawn that threatens to escape. I need to go to the bathroom. Really bad. I tip-toe to the bathroom, making sure that Chris doesn't wake up by the sounds of my walking. I hurry and brush my hair, already having of showered last night. I shower in the evenings because I don't sweat much. Even in sleep. When my hair is finally untangled, I quickly brush my teeth and apply my lip oil before rushing downstairs.

I enter the kitchen and smile, opening the fridge to see what there is that I can make for breakfast before our little drive. Aka, our first date. I'm excited for it.

Once I'm done making breakfast I go back upstairs and wake up Chris.

"Wake up Chris! I made breakfast." I whisper, reaching out and giving his shoulders a gentle shake. His eyes open and meet mine, staring at me curiously. Wow, he's a light sleeper.

"Huh? Wha? Oh, okay... be down in a minute." He tells me, waving me off tiredly. He must have stayed up late. He looks exhausted.

"Okay." I reply, offering a small smile-to which he returns-before exiting the room, hoping that he'll feel a little better by the time he heads down for breakfast.

After Chris has woken up, we sit down at the table and eat. Complete silence. You could hear a pin drop. I sigh, placing my fork and knife down onto the plate. Should we discuss the details of our little road trip thingy?

"Umm, when should we go?" I ask, trying to get rid of the silence. It's not awkward, but I don't really feel like silence right now.

"Well... I was thinking we could go at 7:30." He answers, keeping his eyes on his food as he cuts off another bite of the toasted waffle. I don't much care for pancakes.

"Okay, are we going somewhere? If so, where?" I ask, relaxing a little as conversation begins flowing more smoothly. I think he's quite silent in the mornings. He seems to hate mornings. Noted.

"Somewhere..." He pauses. "It's a surprise." He tells me, giving me a small smile.

"Okay... what type of clothes do I wear? Because I don't want to wear a dress when we might be going somewhere casual." I say. It's true, I don't want us going somewhere for a surprise and I"m over dressed or under dressed. I know I'm probably making this more complicated than it has to be... but this is who I am. He can take me as I am, or leave me.

"You have a point... just wear something casual." He chuckles, finishing his waffle and standing from the table.

"Thank god." I mumble to myself. "Okay, sounds good." I tell him, standing as well. I've already been finished with my small plate of toast.

"Good." He responds. Cleaning the dishes before I get the chance.

That's very kind of him.

I go over to the couch, sitting down and turning on the television. I grab the Xbox controller and switch the tv over to HDMI 2 as per usual. I wait for the Xbox to start, looking around my small living room. It's tiny, but cozy. Just the way I like it. I don't enjoy too much space because it feels so... lifeless. A small living room is definitely the way to go. It's cozy and feels safe.

I click "A", the Skyrim logo flashing across the screen as it loads the game. I haven't played this in forever, so I'll have to keep in mind that it's "Y" to jump and not the "A". I check the quest log, unable to remember what quest I was on last time I quit.
