I awaken to a soft stream of sun landing on my white blanket that surrounds me in a cocoon of comfort. I sit up, eyes flitting across the room as I take in my surroundings before peeling the soft blanket from my legs. The cold air hits, and I immediately want to curl back into my cocoon of comfort and escape the world that I do not like. Instead of doing what I want, I stand, feet touching the cold hardwood floor. I make my way to the bathroom, placing my white towel onto the marble counter. I turn the water to its hottest setting and take a long hot shower, because it's so cold out. Once I'm done I put on an outfit that my boss won't bully me for, and snatch the hairbrush from the counter.

I swiftly brush my hair, causing the wavy strands to straighten a little. Though... my hair quickly becomes frizzy and gross looking. I sigh, tugging on the hair tie on my right wrist as I pull my frizzy hair back into a ponytail. I'll just have to deal with putting my hair up. It should be fine... right? I groan, letting my head fall into my hands.

Why must life be so difficult?

After I'm done getting dressed I grab my phone and keys, hopping into my black Kia Soul before taking off down the street. Let's go over everything. Did I grab everything I needed? I pull over onto the side of the street, turning my phone on and going to the notes app.

"Of course I forgot the most important part of my day... breakfast." I sigh, leaning my head back against the seat of my car. Do I even have time for that today? Work begins at 12:00 pm... and right now it's... 11:37 am. Maybe I could get something down in time. Perhaps McDonald's is freed up and not too busy...

I decide against breakfast, figuring I'll have lunch as usual and everything will be fine. I've skipped meals before, so this has nothing on what I've been through. I'll be fine.

I drive to work and finally park in my parking space. It's unusually crowded this morning, but I decide that it's best to just stick to myself. I'm thankful that today I'm just cleaning and not handling the orders and all of that stuff. Instead, my co-worker; Jameson gets to deal with all of the crazy people.

...*...

I wake up as soon as my face hits my hardwood floor.

"Sh*t!" I mumble, trying to get up.

I end up falling back asleep for about another hour or so and then force myself to go downstairs. Which results in me being lazy and just sliding down the steps because, meh why the hell not?

Wow, that was more entertaining than I expected. I think to myself, getting up and making some coffee.

I get my cup of coffee and sit down on the couch. I get on twitter and see a bunch of new followers. I turn my phone off and watch some Stranger Things before deciding to text Hannah and Marshmello to see what time we are going to watch Supernatural.

I turn my phone off and get everything ready. Once everything's ready I get Netflix to load and click on Supernatural to get it ready to watch. Once that's done all that's left is to wait. Then I realise that I'm still in my pyjamas.

A knock sounds at the front door, causing me to panic.

I run to the door and open it wide. There stands Chris, I slam the door and run upstairs, throwing on random clothes and scurrying back downstairs to the door, slipping and face planting into the floor. Luckily there's carpet on the floor. Though... I can feel the carpet burn on my cheeks. I bring the tips of my fingers to press against my lips and pull away with a hiss. Of course. They're bleeding. I sigh, finally standing up from the hazardous carpet. I dust myself off before calming myself just as the doorbell rings. I scurry to the door once more, opening it wide.

"Hey, sorry about that." I say, feeling my cheeks ignite with embarrassment. I plaster on a smile, hoping to hide just how embarrassed I really am right now.

"It's fine." He says, poking my nose. "You're adorable, you know that? With your adorable oversized t-shirt with Baby Yoda and your men's basketball shorts." He cooes, causing the heat in my cheeks to worsen. I cover my face with my hands.

"You weren't supposed to see that." I whine, my words muffled by the palms of my hands.

"How could I not? You opened your door all the way, like you have now." He chuckles, inviting himself in and closing the door with a soft click behind him. He takes his helmet off, along with his shoes and sets them both to the side, sliding his feet into the pair of slippers he's claimed as his own.

"I didn't realize what I was doing until it was too late." I sigh, crossing my arms in annoyance.

"I think it's sexy." He smiles, handing me a Walmart bag filled with all kinds of snacks to eat. I beam at the bag, staring into the endless supply of treats.

"You're the best!" I exclaim, too focused on the food to pay much attention to his compliment. Food is better than compliments any day.

"I kind of wish Hannah weren't coming over." He tells me, tucking a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. I chuckle, grasping his hand as I lead him into the living room.

"And why is that?" I ask. He smirks, watching me place the bag of treats onto the couch.

"Because if it were just me and you... I would want to have a little fun." He hints. I press my lips into a firm line, watching silently as he leans over me, pressing the palms of his hands into the back of the couch on either side of my face. I let out a small "meep" to which he doesn't reply, and instead stares at me. His eyes darken as I wriggle underneath him.

Before I can think twice, he's sitting on my lap, knees on either side as he stares into my eyes. I let out a startled gasp, my hands automatically resting against his toned chest.

"If Hannah weren't coming over... I'd be kissing you right now." He whispers. Why is he trying to be so seductive? Why is he doing this? I'm pretty sure he doesn't find me attractive like that...

F**k. But what if he does?

"Then kiss me." I blurt out, slapping my hands over my mouth. What was that? I think, mentally scolding myself for pushing this situation further. At this point I'm just screwing myself over.

Without a moment's hesitation, he gently removes my hands that were tightly clasp around my lips and pulls them down to my lap. His eyes lock onto mine, keeping me from looking away as he draws near. I swallow roughly as his lips graze mine before the doorbell chimes. I smile when he groans in frustration, and I press a gentle, chaste kiss to the tip of his nose.

"Maybe next time, love." I grin. He blushes at that and pulls back, hesitant to leave my side. "Better hurry, Hannah's waiting."

"Can't she just wait a little longer?" He whines, staring at my lips longingly.

"We have a season of Supernatural to watch. Now's not the time to be having a heated kissing session." I laugh.

"Fine." He huffs, standing and wandering over to the front door.
