A short silence fell. Liam's face remained nurtural. Fear flooded its way through me once again, as I watched him speechless before me.

Finally, he spoke.

"But I thought you love Bella?"

Oh.

"I do, just not in a romantic way," I mumbled.

"Louis, I have nothing wrong with you being gay. I'm happy you trust me with this. But what about Bella?"

"I don't know," I said so softly, I wasn't sure if he could hear me.

"We'll talk about that later. But thank you for telling me Louis, it means a lot," he said while wrapping his arms around me in a hug.

"Thanks for being here for me, mate," I laughed.

"Cmon! It's your birthday! Lets got party!"

December 31, 2017

The blaring noise of my alarm clock woke me from my deep slumber.

I had to be at work at 6am. Morning shifts sucked, but at least I don't have the night shift. I would probably quit if I had to miss a New Years Party.

I groaned as I rolled out of bed, trudging my feet over to the bathroom. I took a quick shower, mainly just to help wake myself up. I washed my hair, body, and face before I stepped out, wrapping myself in a towel.

I then proceeded in taming my wild hair, and brushing my teeth. Once I was done in the bathroom, I walked back to my bedroom, changing into my work uniform.

I grabbed my coat and threw it on as well, while heading down the stairs to the front entryway. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my keys, before stepping outside into the cold winter air.

I hurriedly got into my car, pulling out of my driveway. Music played lightly in the background, making the drive not so boring.

I pulled into the employee parking lot, and climbed out. I looked up at the sky seeing large fluffy clouds.

Maybe it will snow, I thought.

I finally made my way into the small shop. The smell of coffee filling my senses. I grabbed an apron, pulling it over me head and tying it in the back.

"Louis? Is that you?" I heard my manager ask.

"Yes, sir," I replied, making sure to sound polite.

"Can you work as cashier today?"

"Yeah, sure thing," I answered. Cashier was my favorite position. I didn't have to think as hard, as when making coffee you had to be exact with everything.

"Great. Thanks, Lou!"

I nodded and took my place behind the counter. It was 5:57, meaning we would be opening in three minutes.

I lazily tapped my fingers on the counter, zoning out.

I started thinking about the party tonight, thinking of all the fun Liam and I would have getting drunk off our asses.

I was now started to fall asleep. My head resting on my hand, and my eyes slowly shutting.

However, I was jolted awake.

The sound of the small bell on the counter was rang once, springing me to life. My eyes shot open, and my body jumped a little before calming down to a regular standing position.

My eyes readjusted and they landed on a tall young man in front of me. He had long, curly brown hair. Beautiful green eyes, most beautiful I've ever seen. A small mole on one side of his face. And just overall, stunning.
