The Secretary dropped me of at my place. There we packed up, which was something Megan didn't need to do. We where ready in 1/2 an hour, but I needed a moment.
I looked around the house. We hadn't had many moments but the ones we did were precious. I went to my little room, and cried. I just let the tears flush down, washing my face. After a while, I heard a knock.
I went down to the door about the same time Megan did. She looked at me with a pitied face. Her gaze was interrupted by an even louder knock. That scared me, because Ricky wouldn't knock like that. I put my hand on the knob, but the door flew off. My hand stung, but through the dust I could see soldiers. The taller one stepped through first, grabbed Megan and left. His partner repeated the action with me. As I left, I cried, for all it was worth, but then I heard it.
"What a whiner" the soldier said.
I don't know why I did what I did, but I don't regret it.
I punched the soldier square on the nose.
