Stay (Chapt 29)

It's been months since you and jungkook have been dating.

Schools almost out and then your supposed to go to college. You told your mom you didn't want to go to college.

If so then you would have moved back to America with your brother to attend his college.

You just got out of school. As you and jungkook was walking to your house, it seemed as if jungkook was acting different.

He's been acting different for some weeks now.

It was an awkward silence as you two walked to your house holding hands. Which was weird because you guys usually talk 24/7.

I decided to break the silence. "Hey, What do you want to do today?"

He didn't even look at me. He just kept his gaze forward. "Maybe just chill at your place and watch movies all day"

You nodded your head and turned your focus back in front of you.

You reached to your door and you unlocked it letting jungkook and yourself in.

"Hello?!" You y'all to see if anyone was home. But no response. You turned to jungkook and smiled. "We have the house to ourselves."

He gave you a small smile and followed you up to your room.

You stood there staring at him as he stood in the door staring at the floor. "Um, can you wait downstairs? I need to change"

He looked up at your and cleared his throat and scratched the back of his head. "Y-yeah, sure."

He walked out closing the door behind him. You changed into sweat paints and one of Jungkooks shirts that he left over there.

You went downstairs and plopped on the couch by jungkook, earning a slight jump from him. You giggled.

"Sorry. Did I scare ya?" You say laughing.

He just laughed and looked at you. His gaze made its way to the shirt you where wearing and he smiled. "Is that my shirt?"

You looked at the shirt and back at him smiling. "Yep"

He laughed and gave you a quick peck on the lips. " it looks good on you"

You smiled at him grabbing the remote and switching the channels. "Thanks"

You just found a random movie to watch. You laid your head on Jungkooks shoulder, as he held your hand. "I love you" he whispers

You looked up at him and smiled. "I love you too"

Your smile then faded away as you start to think of all the reasons why he could've been acting weird. So you decided to ask him.

"Jungkook?"
"Hm?"
You gulped and turned your body towards him. "Why have you been acting weird, lately?"

He furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

You sighed. "I mean, like you've been really quiet lately and all you want to do is watch movies at my house. Is something wrong?"

He huffed and turned his full attention towards you. "Actually, Yes. I've been keeping something from you and I feel bad."

Your heart sinks as you where afraid to hear his next words. "What is it?"

He grabbed both of your small hands into his big ones. "I have to move to America for college"

You sighed of relief. "Oh. So this summer we have to make as much memories as possible" you say smiling.

But he doesn't smile back. Instead he doesn't even say anything. "What's wrong with that?" You asked full of worry.

He looked in your eyes and cupped your cheeks. "I won't be able to spend summer with you. Because..." he sighs loud. "Because I'm leaving first thing in the morning of the last day of school. Which is in a couple of days"

Your heart sinks to your stomach as you could feel the tears build up. "B-but..." you didn't know what to say.

The tears started falling. Jungkook tried to hug you but you pushed him away. "Do you have to leave?"

He clenched his jaw biting his bottom lip trying to stop his tears from falling. "My parents want me to, I really don't have a choice. But promise me, that you will wait for me until I come back? I love you, y/n"

You looked in his eyes, tears still falling. "If you loved me then you'll stay. Please stay jungkook."

He then pulled you into his embraced as you cried in his chest.

"Please stay, for me?"
