Nighthawk watched the sun go down. His pelt ruffled in the wind. Promise... Nighthawk! He thought. Windtear had made her words clear; "I promise." "You better."'

Nighthawk was hungry, there was no more prey in the fresh kill pile. He had to go hunting. Nighthawk got up and padded out of the den heading towards the clan entrance.

"Where do you think your going?" Windtears voice flowed through Nighthawks ears. "Hunting, I didn't eat." He replied. Windtear looked at him with her eyes narrowed. "Be careful!" She hissed as if she was his mother. "I will." Nighthawk promised. Then, all you could hear was Nighthawks paw steeps and murmuring.

He soon disappeared into the darkness.

Nighthawk padded a little faster, he smelt the fresh scent of rabbit. He saw a rabbit lying in the grass. Perfect? He wondered. Nighthawk ran towards the rabbit and pounced on it. It didn't move. He sniffed the rabbit, "ShadowClan!" He gasped. He waited for any smell of where the ShadowClan cat went. Nighthawk saw a black figure running towards camp. He picked up the rabbit in his jaws and ran after it, luckily WindClan cats are faster. Nighthawk ran passed the figure and ran into camp. He put his rabbit in the pile and waited for the black figure to come closer. Not very sneaky, I'd say! Nighthawk thought. The figure grew closer and closer he was almost at the camp entrance. Nighthawk pounced onto the ShadowClan cat, scratching its cheek. "Hey!" The cat said and appeared in the light. A dark brown she-cat with blue eyes. "Intruder!" Nighthawk hissed. "Keep it down!" The she-cat whispered to him. "Your Nighthawk, right?" She asked. Nighthawk nodded, still unleashed claws. "Great. Your just the one I need." The cat faded away with Nighthawk.

Nighthawk and the dark brown she-cat teleported into a dark forest, no stars in the sky, rocks, broken trees and more cats. Is this... the dark forest? Nighthawk asked himself. "Welcome to the dark forest." The she-cat greeted. "I'm Seekflash, by the way." She introduced. "Why am I here?" Nighthawk questioned Seekflash. "There's something Thornstar never told you, nobody ever told you." Seekflash sighed. Nighthawk sat down and waited. "What is it?" He demanded. Just then, three cats walked towards Nighthawk and Seekflash. "Lilysplat! Redpelt! Blackheart!" Seekflash smiled. "Nighthawk, is that you?" The reddish brown cat asked. "Yes." Nighthawk replied.

Wait a second, Hazelspots? Nighthawk wondered. "Nighthawk, this is Redpelt. She was your Clanmate Hazelspot." Seekflash mewed. "Hazelspot! You betrayer!" Nighthawk hissed. "No, you betrayer." Redpelt mewed calmly. "What? Me?" Nighthawk was shocked. "Let me tell you the story." Redpelt insisted.
