Chapter 2

5th August 2018
Amelia's POV-
"I don't see the problem here" Zoe said to me
"Excuse me? You don't see the problem?" I asked sitting up
"Yes I do not see the problem, your gonna get to know your stepdad and be surrounded by a bunch of hot guys" she said also sitting up on my bed
"Okay I'm not appose to getting to know Mauricio, but working alongside Tottenham players? Come on your a Manchester United fan would you work Manchester City?" I asked
"Okay I see the problem" she said getting off my bed
"But if we are being completely honest north London was Tottenham territory to start off with you guys just moved there" She said
"Now I know why you got off of my bed" I said
"No but in all honesty now there's a lot of hot guys at Tottenham FC, you might make some friends even find a boyfriend" she said as she sat down back on my bed
"Dating a Tottenham player is like going against everything I stand for" I said to her
"Bit extreme don't ya think?" She asked
"No not really" I said
"Are you nervous?"
"Of course I am, I don't like meeting new people" I said
"I know but you're gonna to be fine baby girl" she said giving me a hug
"I hope so" I said
"You should get a good nights sleep before your first day at work tomorrow, so I'm going to leave you to it" she said getting off of my bed
"I'll call you tomorrow" I said
"I want live updates and a full report tomorrow night" she said as she left my room 
"Bye" I yelled after her.
I laid in my bed starring up to the ceiling I couldn't get over the fact I would be working for my 'enemies'.
6th August
I was woken up by my alarm ringing at 7 AM. I hated the sound of my alarm so I hurried to turn it off.
After taking a shower, brushing my teeth and doing my skincare I sat down at my vanity.
The time was 7:43 and I wasn't too sure on what time I needed to be there so I just quickly did my makeup. I changed into some yoga pants and a white t-shirt, the would have to do.
After coming downstairs I saw everyone at the dinning table with a lot of food.
"What is going on?" I asked as I sat down
"Since it's your first day of work, I thought we'd have a nice family breakfast" my mum said
"I'm not sure why I've been woken up at this hour" James said
"Your apart of the family" my mum said to James
"If I get this every morning I wouldn't mind working for Tottenham" I said
"Well usually you guys will have breakfast at the training grounds I just wanted your first day to be special" my mum said
"Oh so I'm gonna have to eat my favourite meal of the day with people I don't know or like" I said
"On the bright side there's professional chefs there that cook the best food ever" James said
"So Amelia do you want to ride with me?" Mauricio asked looking over to me
"No that's okay I'll take my car" I said. As soon as I said that I could feel James kicking my leg to make me change my mind.
"Or I could go with you, it's better for the environment, if your cool with that?"
"Yea, I'm all for saving the environment" he said with a smile
After eating breakfast and talking with my family it was time to get going.
I got my phone and the rest of the stuff I'd be needing to survive this day.
"So what am I gonna be doing? Like do I have any specific tasks or?" I asked as we were driving off towards the training grounds.
"No not really, your going to mostly be helping out the Kitman and help him with whatever he needs and your also going to be helping where there is help needed, like if they need you in the medical staff you'll go there, if they need you in the kitchen and just all of that" he said
"So I'm basically Tottenham FCs personal bitch" I asked
"No no no....maybe....yea pretty much" he said which just made me laugh.
"I won't be having to interact with the player tho?" I asked
"Yes you will we want our staff and players to get to know each other and be friends so we're one big family over there" he said
"Great being one big happy family with spurs" I said
"You'll do fine and If your not up to talking to them then you don't have to" he said
"I think I'll like Wait it out and if I feel comfortable enough I guess I could talk to them" I said
"Yea I know you're shy but a lot of the guys are also shy, so I think the outgoing guys will approach you and if anyone is bothering you, you come and tell me straight away" he said as he parked the car.
"I will do that" I said as I grabbed my purse.
Mauricio lead me into the training grounds and he showed me into a changing room and gave me the clothes and I'd be wearing. After he showed me around everywhere and introduced me to some of the workers. I went back to the changing room to change into the clothes I was given.
After putting the clothes on I looked at myself in the mirror, I was in official spurs clothes.
"I'm doing this for mum" I reminded myself before stepping out and going towards Mauricio's office.
"Okay so here I am in spurs official clothing and my dignity is gone, what is my first task?" I asked as I walked into his office
"Your gonna help the kitman put out the guys clothes and all of that, when you're done you can come back here and we'll wait for the guys to arrive so I can introduce you to them" he said
I nodded and I went towards the kitmans room where Mauricio showed me earlier on today.
Before entering the room I knocked on the door and I was so nervous.
"Hey I'm Amelia Black the new intern" I said stretching out my hand to shake him
"Yes of course, Mauricio has been talking about you nonstop" he said
"He has? Are you sure he's not talking about someone else?" I asked
"Yes he told me how you've turned into such a beautiful and smart young lady" he said
It warmed my heart that he had talked about me and I had been so mean to him.
"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name" I said
"Oh Im sorry, my name is Steve Rae" he said
"Nice to meet you Steve" I said
"Nice to meet you too" he said
"So what are we doing?" I asked looking around the room.
"Well we're gonna put out these training clothes in the dressing room and if they need to change something we'll get them whatever they need" he said
I nodded and just helped him carry the clothes to the dressing room. There was a list of the guys sizes so I placed them out on their seats. We were done within 10 minuets, If this was all I had to do, It won't be that bad.
After getting done I told Steve I was going to Mauricio. I was just sitting while on my phone as he got some stuff done on his computer. As the clock hit 9:30 Mauricio told me the guy were all probably in the dining room by now so we should go and say hi.
I just trailed after him towards the dinning hall.

"Everyone could I get your attention?" Mauricio asked drawing all the attention to us
"This is my step daughter Amelia" he said introducing me to them
He then took me around the room introducing me to the guys one by one. Some of them were really good looking I wasn't gonna lie. But there was this one shy dark haired brown eyes boy who caught my attention.
"Dele this is Amelia, Amelia this is dele" he said
"Hi nice to meet you" I said stretching my hand out for him to sake
"Nice to meet you too" he said with a small smile
