Levi's PoV

I wake up beside Erwin and I smile. We've been together for two years.

After Erens' death, Erwin and I went through a lot of therapy trying to get our lives back together.

I look over at the calendar. Today marks five years since Eren died, and Erwin and I miss him a lot.

"Daddy! Daddy!" I look up to see our adopted kid, Justin, walking into our room.

"Hey kiddo! What's up?" Erwin sits up, curious.

"I wanted to know what we are having for breakfast," Justin says.

"Today is a special day. We are going out to eat, remember?"

"Oh," he says. "For the guy in the picture of my necklace, right? E...Eren, was it?"

Erwin and I both nod, and Justin comes and sits on the bed with us.

"Can you tell me about him again? Please?" He gives a small smile.

"Eren was someone we both loved very much," Erwin explains.

"What happened to him?"

"He went to Heaven," I answer.

"Why?"

"A very mean person made him very sick," Erwin says.

"Was Eren a good guy?"

"Eren was one of the best people I ever met, besides Erwin, of course," I say, smiling at Erwin.

"I see... I wish I could of met him. He sounds amazing," Justin opens his necklace to look at the smiling picture of Eren. He runs his thumb over it and smiles.

"We are going to the cemetery today to pay our respect," Erwin says, patting Justin's head. "So go get dressed, okay?"

"Okay!" I watch as Justin jumps off of our bed and runs out the door.

He is so precious, and he reminds me of Eren...

"Levi, are you ready to get up?" Erwin looks over at me.

I take a deep breath, "Yes, I think so."

He leans over and presses his lips to mine. "I love you, Levi. I know today is a hard day for you. I'm here for you, okay?"

"Thank you, Erwin. I love you too," I smile and get up.

After breakfast, we go to the cemetery, and we find Eren's grave. I had been out here many times. I even managed to find it in the dark.

I used to leave the house and worry Erwin sick because of it. I didn't mean to worry him... I just wanted to come here alone.

"Is this it?" Justin asks, touching the headstone.

I nod, and gently kneel down beside it. I put my hand on it, and Erwin sits down beside of me.

"Hey, Eren," Justin says to the headstone.

I look over at him, and feel tears well up in my eyes. Erwin rubs my back.

"Erwin and Levi have told me all about you. You seem like you would of been an awesome guy," he continues. "And well, I wish I could of met you!"

Tears begin to streak his face as he comes over to us.

"Why did that bad man have to hurt a great guy?" He asks, as I wipe away his tears.

"I'm not sure. There are bad guys everywhere. Erwin and I are here to protect you, okay? And Eren is up in the sky looking over all three of us as well..."

Erwin smiles and stands up, "Come on, Justin. Let's give Levi some time."

Justin nods and Erwin walks him towards the car.

Hey, Eren. If you can hear me, I want to tell you about Justin. He never met you, yet he knows how much you mean to Erwin and I... I'm going to protect him and teach him everything about life. I want him to grow up to be a fine young man like you were.

Remember when I met you, and I was angry about my car? Well, I wasn't really mad about that. I was mad that Erwin got to talk to you first. Funny, right?

I really miss you, Eren. You meant the world to me, and you didn't deserve to die so young.

I love you and miss you, from Earth to Heaven.

I get up and dry my tears off. I turn around to see Erwin and Justin waiting in the car for me.

I smile, and walk to the car.

"You okay?" Erwin looks at me, a bit of worry on his face.

"I'm okay," I answer.

He reaches his hand over and touches my hand. "I love you, Levi."

"I love you too, Erwin."

"And I love you both!" Justin exclaims from the back seat.

"We love you too," Erwin and I say at the same time.

This life is beautiful.
