The Rise of Sibuna

As soon as I told Aleesya about the "chant" and showed her Sia, she started grinning. The photo she showed me earlier, I kept it. She explained to me that maybe I reincarnated and it's just that I dreamt of him a lot. Whatever.

"You know, we also searched about the people who resided here before. Unfortunately, the only names that appeared are about the Frobishers I think... And that photo. But it doesn't tell us any names actually, which is weird." she keeps on babbling about it until eventually, we fell asleep. So does Sia, who is now beside me.

The next morning, we told Sia to stay inside our room and gave her some snacks. When I got out of the house, I immediately called Eddie.

"I need to tell you something," he said after a few rings. That's a nice way to say hello. "Before you speak, I had a vision. A vision about you, being taken away by Nephthys. Sorry, sorry for not telling you this ahead of time. So right now, I'm going to school. DO NOT SAY ANYTHING FROM YOUR DREAM. Because when you do, it will create chaos." he then ended the call and left me frozen. Do not say anything from your dream... If Sia, or whoever that is, showed up. It would cause chaos. Where would I go?

I entered the Anubis House slowly. It was quiet but it feels like it's suffocating me. I walked towards the living room and sat on the sofa. Is it a good thing that I let Sia sit in my room?

I then heard some footsteps going down from upstairs. "Trudy?" I asked softly, but no one responds. I'm starting to get a bit nervous.

"I extended everywhere, in accordance with what was to come into existence . . . I bent around myself, I was encircled in my coils, one who made a place for herself in the midst of her coils." I then heard the chant I spoke of last night, I froze again. Knowing it was Sia's voice, I ran towards the foyer and was about to go out the door but someone held me. It was really tight and it's making me weak.

"I extended everywhere, in accordance with what was to come into existence . . . I bent around myself, I was encircled in my coils, one who made a place for herself in the midst of her coils."

But I heard someone said the words, "If you are harmful to me, I will step on you... If you are harmful to me, I will step on you... If you are harmful to me, I will step on you..." over and over again, it feels like she's not suffocating me anymore but still, I'm still weak. When Sia shouted and was gone—because of the chant—I'm trembling on my knees, unable to walk properly. Eddie helped me stand up and put me on the sofa. I catch my breath and that's when Trudy entered the house. She looks at me, wide-eyed and I saw some bags she was carrying.

"Elizabeth, Eddie, what happened?" she asked.

I just look at Eddie but she shook his head, signaling not to tell her what happened earlier, "I came in the house, hoping for a visit when I saw her a bit pale... and in need of assistance so I helped her. She'll feel better. I gave her some medicines already." he smiled at Trudy while she nods slowly. But it seems like she believed him and walk away from the living room. Eddie now looks at me, "It's time for you to know a little secret about this house."

I texted Tomas and Aleesya to go to our room while Eddie and I wait for them. They knock and I opened the door. When I closed it, I heard Aleesya gasped, looking at Eddie, and now looks at me. "Are you going to tell me you're pregnant and he's the father?!" she asked.

"What? No!" I said, walking towards my bed and sat down. "Jesus, why would I pick him?" I rolled my eyes while he glares at me, "He's my cousin, Eddie Miller. He lived in this house when he was studying here blah blah blah... But you guys are not here to know about his backstory. I need your help, and a little lesson about the so-called Sibuna." I rolled my eyes, remembering what Eddie said about their secret club and solving mysteries about this Egyptian God Anubis and Osiris and Ra. I sighed, "He told me, it seems like the "mystery" in this house is not going to-"

"Shut up, Beth." he said, making me put my hands up for saying my nickname BEFORE. I exhaled. "Okay, so I'm Eddie Miller, as you know. She's my cousin, etcetera. Wow, you reminded me so much of Fabian and Mara." he said making me frown, "You see, she told me about having dreams with this mysterious guy she probably fell in love with and also you having a dream about her being taken, Aleesa? Or Alicia?"

"It's actually Aleesya, double 'e'." Aleesya explained.

"Oh, sorry. Which I also saw through my vision... again—which is actually strange because I lost my Osirian powers—but she doesn't want me to look at the photo you gave her. Can you show me?" he asked, a bit polite. Geez, when will he grow up? I rolled my eyes, knowing I can't fight him anymore. Aleesya opened her laptop and in a few clicks, I saw Eddie froze. He closed the lid and walks out of the room. I followed him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I shouted, making him stop.

"The reason he's been on your dreams, it's because he wants to get saved. And you guys need to find him soon. I-I need to go." then he left, making me go back to my room to "find" him.

"Okay," I said as I entered the room, "every time they had this mystery stuff going on, they always call their group Sibuna, and as respect for our Alumni, I say we are going to rebirth the group. So, we need to cover our right eye with our palm and we need to say, "Sibuna". On the count of three, one... two... three..."

"Sibuna!"
