Chapter 12- Ouija Board

I wake up with a massive headache and look to my side to see a sleepy Emilio.I smile and kiss his cheek.I get up and walk to the bathroom.I do my morning routine.I change into a comfortable outfit and go downstairs.

I go to the kitchen to see Erika and Tessa talking.I grab some coffee and sit on the counter and join their conversation.Jake then comes out of nowhere and scares us.

Me:Why the fuck did you do that pendejo?

Jake:I'm just messing with you guys.Anyways you guys wanna come with us tonight.

Tessa:What are you guys doing?

Jake:We're going to an abandoned insane asylum.

Erika:And what's the catch?

Jake: There's no catch...only that we gonna play the ouija board. (smiles)

Me:Uh nope I'm out.(gets off counter)

Jake: Why not?

Tessa:Cause Unique swore to herself that she will never touch an ouija board.

Erika:Can I ask why?

Me:Um...it was my grandma that's why.

Tessa:Uni you don't have to talk about it.(holds my hand)

Me:It's alright,I don't mind.Ok well this happened a long time ago.My grandma was pregnant with my uncle.And when she was a couple months pregnant,her and her friends played the ouija board.The board told her that her baby was gonna die.My grandma being young didn't believe it at all.Shw thought it was all bullshit.But when she finally gave birth to my uncle,he died when he was born.My grandma regretted playing the board because she lost her kid.My mom told me to never mess with that board.And I promised my grandma I would never do that,even if I had a gun to my head.

Jake:I'm sorry Unique, shouldn't have asked.

Me:It's alright.

Jake: Look I would still like you to come it would be fun,besides the oujia board.

Me:I don't know,I'll think about.

Jake:Alright then,now if you ladies will excuse me I gotta go to the toy store.

Erika:I'm coming too.

Tessa:Me three,I gotta get some new clothes anyway.Uni you coming?

Me:No I think I'ma stay here and wake up Emilio.

Emilio:Bebe?

Tessa:Too late for that now.(smiles)I'll see you later alright?

Me: Alright then.Hey I thought you sleeping.(hugs him)

Emilio: Yeah but I missed you by my side.(kisses her)

Me: Whatever.(smiles)

Emilio:Are sure you wanna come tonight?

Me:I don't know.On one side I would fucking shit my pants.On the other side,I don't want them to be messing around with some demon type shit.

Emilio: Hey don't worry,ok?

Me:(sighs)Ok.

Emilio:Now go get ready I wanna take you out for breakfast.

Me:Why you always gotta take me out somewhere?

Emilio:Porque te quiero y quiero saber cómo debes ser tratado.

Me:Pero no tienes que hacer eso.

Emilio:Bueno, quiero hacerlo de todos modos porque eres mi princesa.

Me: Alright I'll go get ready then.(kisses him)
