"Dan is messing with my head"
I had my head hidden in my arms
"What?" Louise asked
"I said that Dan is messing with my head"
I said looking at her now
"Why?"
"Well, do you remember that time when I confessed to him that I liked him? And then he said he wasn't bi"
"Yes...Why?"
"Well, we have some classes together and he's being touchy with me. And he glances to look for me, he laughs at my stupid jokes and I see him everywhere in the campus and even when he could go with his friends...he chose to hang out with me."
"Well-"
"But then again, that could mean nothing!"
"Hey...maybe something will happen..."
"I don't know...I don't want to have high expectations"
"High expectations?"
A familiar voice came from behind me. I saw Dan standing there, and I shot Louise the best 'why didn't you tell me' look I had.
"Yeah...like in my career"
"What are you talking about? You're one of the best of the generation." He said
"Well...I should be going now, I have economy class so...bye!"
Louise stood up and left me with Dan, which left me nervous and excited.
"So...expectations, huh?"
"Yeah..."
He nodded and placed his laptop on the table.
"I wanted to show you something"
"Oh, what is it?"
"I did something for you"
He shot me a sideway look and my stomach felt full of butterflies.
He looked nervous while scrolling through his computer, looking for the video. He finally found it and showed it to me.
"Don't say anything just...watch"
I payed attention to what was happening on the screen. A very nicely animated Dan appeared out of the corner:
"I know I have been an idiot in the past...also a coward. The truth is that i like you...a lot. So would you consider giving me a second chance? I promise I'll make it up to you." Then the screen turned black.
"And what do you think?"
I was impressed. How long did Dan take to do the amazing animation...why would he make such an effort for me?
"I'm impressed honestly and-" I looked at him "I guess I could give you a second chance"
Dan smiled widely and kissed my cheek.

"So...movie tonight?"
