as I thought about the job that Ray had planned for us , it started to worry me . why does he want us to rob a bank ? are we doing this for him and his boys so they can get money ? I don't know what to think right now . but , enough of bad thoughts . today is my brother Leon's 16 birthday . man , he has just grown . I love this kid to pure death .

all of his friends and some of our family had came to his 70's birthday party . is it weird that I would throw him a 70's birthday party ? hey , don't judge me . Amia and Kayla had walked up next me and greeted me with smiles .

"now I thought I said a 70's birthday party ." I told Amia laughing . the only thing that tried to look 70's on her was her hair . jesus , why can't this child listen .

"70's , Halloween .. it's the same thing ." she said laughing as well .

"anyways , Kayla , Bryson you two are looking awfully groovy tonight ." I said admiring their outfits . at least some people can listen .

"thank you for following directions .. specific directions ." I said putting emphasis on the word directions .

"girl , you the only person i know that would throw a 70's birthday party ." Amia said .

"just look at him . ain't he fine ? handsome as he wants to be ." I said referring to my brother .

"man , i remember you was just a little scrub always trying to follow us around an shit. " Amia always loved picking on Leon . and Leon always hated it .

"y'all always trying to mess up somebody game ." Leon said . he was trying to hook up with some girl .. but she wasn't even cute . I taught my brother better than that .

"game ? what game ?" Amia said eyeing the girl .

"whatever ." the girl said as she walked away .

"man , we need some more chips man . stuff running out ." Leon said .

"well I'll just run to the store and get some more."

"no , I'll do it .. it's fine ."

it started to worry me why he always wanted to do things late at night . this isn't the first time either . but , hey it's whatever .

"alright , be careful . and be quick ."

he walked off and headed to his car .

as soon as he got in the car .. he picked up his phone and dialed a number . the other person picked up the phone after 3 rings .

"hello ?" the deep voice said .

"aye man , I need some more packs . I sold the rest yesterday ." Leon said .

"ight man , swing through here and I'll have them for you ." the deep voice said .

this wasn't a regular store run . this was a drug run .
