Was I hit by the Cupid's Arrow, or am I delusional?
I can't stop thinking about him. All I can do is replay what happened over, and over, and over! Was I daydreaming? No way I was... I need advice.
"Paige?" I called.
"Yes?" Paige replied.
"Swear you won't tell anyone," I imply.
"I... Swear, I guess," she says unsure of what's coming.
"How do I say this...." I pause, "I-well I didn't do it... D-Damion. He,"
"Spill it!" Paige becomes impatient.
"Damion kissed me," I rush. I immediately hang up the phone.
I grab my pillow and hug it tighter than ever before, look at it for a second, then plant my face in it and start screaming. Could life get any worse? Maybe it already has. Paige called me back four times and I ignored it. Then I realize... Is it better for me to get this over with on the phone, or wait and talk face-to-face?
I picked up the phone again, and dialed-in Paige's number.
"What the heck bro?!" Paige answers before I can explain, "I can't believe you!"
I get worried for a second, but then I cool off. Paige does this all the time. She says something to scare you, then she follows it up with a compliment/joke.
"Yeah, I know. Mad crazy, right?" I kid.
"NO! YOU KISSED MY BABY BROTHER IDIOT!"
Quick note: Paige is a very short-tempered girl and calls Ava and idiot all the time. She's a bit hard on the outside, but there is a reason behind it. She has a very traumatized life... OK, enough about her. This story is about Ava and her---
"I didn't know that,"* I huffed
life.
"Of course you didn't know. He JUST became part of our family," she sniffed.
"Oh my," I was confused, "He's not your blood brother?"
"I don't want to talk about it," Paige started to cry.
"Paige, you know I am always there for you," I sympathize.
"Are you? You have to choose, me or my brother," Paige ends the call.
This is a tough one. I like both. But, Paige has been there for me longer than I knew Damion existed. Someone, help me!
