As I was walking around the island looking for Ryker, I found him on the docks and went up to him.
"Hey Ryker, whacha up to?" I asked.
"Just getting ready for the next Dragon Hunting trip," he replied.
"Can I go, I can help," I said.
"Nope sorry, we're full," he said.
"Aw man," I said. I walked away and sighed. I went a lake on the island threw rocks across the water.
"Why can't I go? I'm just as good as everyone else," I said throwing a rock. I sighed and sat on the sand.
"Ryker only treats me as a sister, but I want more then that. Like he would even know when a girl is in love with him," I said in sadness. I brought my knees to my chest and felt tears go down my cheeks.
"Y/N, you okay?" Ryker asked from behind. I wiped away my tears and said, "Yeah, I'm okay."
I zoned out of what he saying and I completely ignored him.
"Y/N, are you even paying attention to what I'm saying?" he asked. "Just leave me alone Ryker," I said.
"Are you sure you're okay? I've never seen you like this," he said concerned.
"I'm fine, people just... change," I said. I sighed and Ryker asked, "Did someone break your heart again?"
"Just leave me alone," I said in pure anger. He backed up and went away. I felt tears go down my cheeks uncontrollably and I just cried.
«Time Skip»
As I was waking up today, I heard Terrible Terrors screeching in the distance and got out of bed. I put my normal outfit on and sighed that Ryker had left last night to go do some Hunter business. I had absolutely no purpose on the island and I was super bored. I went back to the lake I was at last night and had my bow and arrows with me.
I sat on the grass and laid down covering the back of my head so grass wouldn't get grass in my H/L H/C. I stared up at the clouds watching the trees swaying in the wind. I sat up and said, "If only I had Ryker to enjoy this with."
"So that's why you were rude to him last night, you're love sick," Viggo said from behind. I jerked my head around and fell backwards.
"No I'm not, that's crazy talk," I scoffed while lying.
"I can tell when someone is lying," he said.
"Dang it," I said.
"I'm guessing you don't want me to say anything about this to Ryker or anyone else," he said.
"Please don't, I don't want him to break my heart anymore then he has," I said sadly.
"Because he treats you as a sister," Viggo said.
"Pretty much," I said.
"I'm sure if you tell him, he'll understand," Viggo said.
"Maybe," I said sadly feeling tears go down my cheeks.
"I won't say a word," he said, "You have my word."
I wiped my tears away and nodded. He went off and I followed him. I went to my tent and read a book.
«Time Skip»
When Ryker got back from his Hunter business, I just hid my face in my hood. He was confused why I was just avoiding him and I didn't want to talk to him. I was by the lake I was usually at and I said, "Why can't Ryker take a hint? He can't just keep ignoring me like I don't even exist. I love him more then anything in the world."
"So that's why you act weird when I'm around," Ryker said from behind.
"What? Yeah right," I lied.
"You just said that, you should've told me," he said hugging me. I started to cry and he said, "Shh, it's okay, don't cried, I hate to see you cry. I love you more then anything in the world."
I pushed him away and felt tears flood my eyes.
"Just leave me alone," I said covering my face with my hood. I felt tears go down my cheeks and Ryker came closer. He put one hand on my cheek and removed my hood. He kissed me on the lips and I blushed. I kissed him back and Viggo walked out of the forest.
"Ryker, I can't believe you. You fell in love with a girl, yeah, I'm not surprised," Viggo said. Me and Ryker pulled apart and Ryker asked, "What aren't you surprised?"
"I knew she was in love with you but I made a promise to not tell you," he said.
"He did promise me that he wouldn't say a word about it to anyone," I said. Ryker sighed and I hugged him. I felt something grab me by my waist and take me away from Ryker.
