The train sped along its tracks, releasing a deafening honk as it did so. Natsu groaned, his face blue as he clenched at his stomach. Droplets of sweat dripped down the sides of his face.

"R-Rose... do you have any of those pills?" the salmon-haired male managed to whimper through his gagging motions.

"Sorry, I was in a rush so I kind of forgot..." Rose sighed regretfully, rubbing the back of her neck as she glanced at the sick male.

Natsu gagged once again, his face transitioning to a vile shade of green.

"Careful not to ruin my boots, man," Gray complained, lifting his feet up onto the seat to avoid another incident in which he would have to walk around with barf-scented boots.

"Wendy, can't you use your motion sickness spell?" Happy asked the young dragon slayer.

"The more I use it the less it works so I probably shouldn't, I'm sorry..."

"Just try and bear with it until we reach the Rose Garden station," Erza smiled.

Rose yawned, leaning back in her seat which was situated behind Lucy's – she had spent most of the train ride leaning her arms on the top of the seat so she could participate in the conversations the group had more easily.

"Why does my tummy hate me so much?" Natsu gurgled, curling into himself as he tried his best not to projectile vomit the contents of his stomach at everyone else.

Gray chuckled, though his feet were still suspended in the air away from Natsu.

Lucy broke the silence. "So, Éclair, where do you come from originally?"

Éclair closed her eyes. "I honestly don't know. I don't have any clear memories of it..."

"Oh... so like some form of amnesia?"

"Perhaps that's it," Éclair rested her chin on her knuckles. "The odd thing is, what I do remember, is that I have never cared much for wizards. Especially the nosy kind."

Lucy blinked, processing the woman's words, before crossing her arms and looking away with an annoyed pout.

"Shame on you!" Momon scolded again. He looked towards Lucy. "She lacks social grace, but she's a good person at heart – so please forgive her rudeness..."

"Pointless chatter."

"Yeah, she's great..." Lucy mumbled under her breath. Rose stifled a laugh at the mage's annoyed words.

Silence ensued, drawing Rose's thoughts to those of her missing friend.

Adell... she wanted to see him. Or rather, she needed to.

Rose didn't know why he was so desperate to have her past revealed to her guildmates, but...

At the same time, she knew that he'd never do anything simply to hurt her. There had to be a deeper meaning to his actions. The muffled laughter of her teammates was drowned out by her own thoughts.

Her teammates...?

What if Adell was worried she'd try to leave?

No... what if he was scared that he'd have to leave? Scared she wouldn't be able to open up to her guildmates even with an incentive?
