She was mystical and mysterious, and the mystery is what made her beautiful.

Her eyes were nothing like anyone has ever seen before, as they were the most electrifying shade of blue, she put the seas of Greece to shame. In the blue of her eyes, there was hint of green that made everything in her skin glow.

The light brown freckles from last summer that lined her nose and under eyes gave her a certain sense of purity in the world. Her eyes and freckles together they felt as if you were bathing in pool of holy water in the center of the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City.

Her narrow eyes told a different story. They were forever stuck in a doe like glare, that made you feel comforted and afraid at the same time. Mixed with her long, black as sky during a storm eye lashes, you wondered if you were going to heaven or hell.

Beyond the freckles and the lashes, you could see the fading lines of purplish bags. They showed she was tired; she was tired of being strong for too long. She was braver and stronger than anyone would ever know. She was her own savior, as she was no princess stuck in a high tower.

The more you stare, the more any person could fall in love with her.

Fall in love with her power.
Her mystery.
Her bravery.

Her magic that didn't require a spellbook.

I've stared at these eyes before, and I know them better than anybody. If you know her, you would know that there was the slightest hint of honeycomb brown in them.

The hint of brown matched the color of the eyes of the boy she loved. He was the opposite of her.

As her eyes read power, his eyes read safety.
Hers read mystery, his read romance.
Hers were mystical, his were a reality.

Together, they were beautiful and they could protect each other with their opposites.

As the saying older than time says, opposites do attract.

And boy, do they not understand the truth in that.
