I hopped off the train into the big city of New Orleans. Hoping to make enough money to get a ticket back to Bronks Square, New England. It going to take a few days but it will be worth it in the end so I can warn Mady about Lady Tremaine.
"Excuse me, kind lady would you be able to spare to help out the poor."gloomed an old lady.
"Mame, I can not at this time. Matter of fact ik in need of a job, do you perhaps know where I could get one?" I pleaded.
The lady sat there with a sad look in her eyes, I knew that I needed to help her. So I gave her a few pounds to exchange for her knowledge. She told me that they are looking for a new waitress at this bakery down the road from here. She said they start interviewing tommorow. I knew I had to get down there. I walked down the street and found the cutest little little bakery. I had to sign my name on a paper so they knew I was coming to the interview. Then I had to go find a place to sleep for the night.
I went for a walk hoping to find a cozy BnB with low nightly ratings. I found one on Etro Lane with the sweetest house owner so I decided to stay there. She gave me a room, bed, and once a night phone time. I used that time to get in touch with my family back in Bronks Square. Even though they didn't pickup I think that they were just busy right now. I went to bed early hoping for a good day.
I woke up at six am to a two stack pancake breakfast with eggs. It was delicious but I couldn't marvel or how good it was because then I would be wasting my time and I didn't have time for that. As soon as I finished I picked up my stuff and went out of the door. I had to get going if I was going to make it to my interview on time.
Since it was just around the block I made it on time, with some extra time to spare. I decided to walk around New Orleans and explore this mystical city.
It was beautiful and I couldn't believe my eyes~Mady's point of view~
I woke up to the sound of my sister telling father that she would go on a walk and be back by tea time. So I decided to get dressed and meet her by her favorite sight gazing view. It was the hill where Prince Charming's beautiful castle could seen.
I finally made it, and decided to go to her reading tree. This is where Mady went to read because father prohibited her from reading. I went to her tree and she was not there.
"Mady, where are you!?" I yelled.
There was no sound nor reply back so I got worried. I decided to go home and a check her room maybe she just said that so she could get a little privacy.
I trudged down the hill in my dress and back onto the trail. As I was walking I was thinking that I could make raspberry tarts for Lady Tremaine. After walking for miles I finally made it back home. I went to my sister's room immediately. She wasn't there, I thought she would be here for sure but I am shocked. I saw a tiny piece of red silk draping down the side of her bed. It was from mother and she never goes anywhere without it. That's when I decided to check her drawers. That's when I knew she wasn't coming back any time soon.... all of her clothes were missing.
"Father Cindy is gone, she is missing!!!" I said with urgency in my voice. Father can we please go find her?!"
