~Cindy's POV~
Father and I have looked for Mady for days now and we don't know where she is. So one day Lady Tremaine and my father went to look by themselves one night. I stayed home with the twins . They argued the whole time, I just sat in my room and read my book. I knew Mady would pop-up soon she never misses church. I never missed church. Then the door opened slow and steadily, a black dark figure, walked in with their head down. Then she lifted her cloak.
~Mady's POV~
I started working in Titiana's beigne shop, she made the best in town. All her customers were really good tipper's at that. They always gave me like 10$ after they dined and everyday I at least served 30 people. I use that money for my savings to get back to the Bronks and tell Mady. One day after work, Titana's husband, Navid, asked me to come over to their house for dinner. I agreed thinking "free food, heck yeah!" When I got there I was told that someone was plannig to send an assasain to the Bronks. I wondered why they would tell me such a thing. Then they handed me a note with my name on it. I asked , "How did you get this? Nobody knows I'm here." Titiana looked at Navid with sad, honest eyes.
I had saw a missing child flyer on the outskirts of the village, I looked at the name and saw that it was yours. They had a number and I called it, turns out it was you. Then I called again, finding out that the number had been disconnected. Then early this morning this came in. I opened it hoping that Cindy had sent it to me. It had said:
" Dear Madysen, come back home or your family gets it. I hope you know the great trouble you have been to my plan. I need you home, I've hired an assasin to be here at the dawn of Thursday morning. He's got a head start, You need to catch up. You have to come now or you'll never see you sweet father again.
From,
Your dearest Mother."
I stood shocked, frozen as if someone had ripped my heart out. "I need to get to Bronks." Titania and Navid, looked at me in wonder. "How fast?", Titania smirked. I said " How fast can you get me there?".
"I can do that you'll be there at midnight if you leave now." she glanced at Navid.
"Ok, I will pack and meet you back at the restaurant, in five." I walked out in a hurry.
I had finally gotten my stuff from the BnB and grabbed the cash in my savings for the trip. I knew I couldn't stop going if I didn't I would be risking my sister and my dad's life. Titania and Navid waved me goodbye as I entered the train. Honestly, it was all suspicious, I knew where Titania got the flour, she never went over half a mile out of town. She always got it from Mr.Dawnwell's bread store across the street from the restaurant.
I was already over the river I couldn't go back now. I looked back to the town, I stayed in. Then I saw that Titania and Navid had a glum look on their faces. I turned around thinking maybe they miss me. I decided to sleep so I would be well rested for my stepmother. I don't know what she was going to do but I knew I had to be prepared in for it.
~Cindy's POV~
After the mistress walked in, we saw her face in the light. It was My stepmother Lady Tremaine, and behind her my father.
"Girls, we found no trace of Mady, she is being looked for by the King's guard" Lady Tremaine said gloomily.
"Why are the King's guards, looking for Mady. I thought they were only on town cases.?" asked Drizella.
"They are having a ball, for the Prince to meet all of the young ladies of this town. To become his wife. They NEED all of the ladies to be there. " said glum father.
I prayed Mady would come back home to us when she was ready. I can't bare not seeing her. Maybe she wasn't joking about Lady Tremaine, maybe our stepmother is evil. I don't know, but what I do know is that I need to get some rest.
The next morning we went to church, everybody was staring at me. All the elders bowed to us and said:
"We pray for your daughter Mady."
You never knew Mady, you didn't even, appreciate her.
I sat down in the second row, thinking of all the things Mady and I would be doing after church. Sadly, these were just thoughts, because Mady was gone.
