A Cup of Coffee
Just bring me a cup of coffee
With a scented aroma of a delicate taste
A mixture of strong bitterness and a caramel glaze
Bitterly sweet just like his gaze
A drink I shan't grimace
Just bring me a cup of coffee
That could make any spirits free
So mine would be in so much glee
Just a quick sip — fast enough in letting my senses escape reality
And more likely to restrain these anxieties
Just bring me a cup of coffee
As hot as I see to him
So that the warmth could melt my raging spark
And it's darkness can compare in my soul's depth
And match his complexion, nevertheless
Just a cup of coffee, it would let me accept
No need for medication and triumphant success
For everything I call for is a savory savior of my mess
But if you bring me a tea with a taste of the dead
Just bring me a cold chocolate drink instead.
