Park Jimin was diagnosed with social anxiety when he was 14 years old. Others mistake it for being extremely shy or introverted, but Jimin's parents knew better.

Jimin had never been a social butterfly, but he got scared when he had to complete the simplest of tasks. Such as refusing to get up to blow his nose when the class was in the middle of a lesson, or raising his hand to answer a question because he didn't want to be made fun of.

The young boy's parents knew this, however they didn't think anything of it until one day at the grocery store Jimin refused to stand in the line by himself. When asked why, Jimin shrugged and responded with "I just don't want to."

When sent to see a therapist, Jimin told her how his heart would automatically pick up speed when he was asked to do something by himself or he had to interact with someone.  He stated how he would think of every way the situation could go wrong and also expressed his fears about messing up and embarrassing himself or others. The boy also said how he was bullied at school, but never felt he deserved to defend himself. Thus, the therapist came to her professional conclusion that Jimin had social anxiety, and would have to be medicated for it.

Now, at 16 years old, Jimin's anxiety has only gotten worse even with his medication.

Will he ever find someone to help him cope with his anxiety? Or will it end up tearing him up inside to the point where he can't take it anymore?
