twas the night before christmas
and all over the world
every country was in silence
not a single flag unfurled
the wind whispered the names
of the billions who fell
not a single soul survived
the hundred years of hell
seems we never learned the lessons
we should have, from the past
but i guess there's one consolation
we have peace
at last
